Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad rejected a Western proposal for it to 'freeze' its nuclear work on Monday and ruled out any talks over the issue.

Speaking on a day that North Korea conducted a second nuclear bomb test in defiance of international warnings, Ahmadinejad was asked whether his country has cooperated with Pyonyang on nuclear efforts.

"There is no cooperation between us," he said. "We're opposed to nuclear proliferation; we're opposed to storing nukes. We have announced this repeatedly."

This stance will likely disappoint US president Barack Obama, who has broken from standard US policy in attempting to engage Iran diplomatically. The US, Russia, China, France, Germany and Britain stated they would invite Iran to discuss the nuclear issue.

The United States, Russia, China, France, Germany and Britain said in April they would invite Iran to a meeting to try and find a diplomatic solution to the nuclear row.

The West accuses Iran of secretly developing atomic weapons. Iran, the world's fifth-largest oil exporter, denies the charge and says it only wants nuclear power to generate electricity.

Good post and I think before these countries ask Iran to disarm there Nuclear stuff, they should first destroy there stuff.

US and rest having the most leathal weapons and atleast Iran using it for elctricity. Iran have a right to continue there work unless US and other countries too stop there tests of nuc.

West is always dislike if someone developing and coming closer to there level as they cant do all the acts after that. Mainly they cant sell there garbages and dominant in these countries.

Thanks for sharing it.

Ahmadinejad is completely out of control.  He has threatened his neighbors stating he would wipe them off the map, much like Hitler tried.  That's completely unacceptable, and for that remark alone, all super powers should closely watch this heavy handed loudmouth, and take defensive military posturing positions.

Israel will take care of this problem with a continued strong defense and be ready with a massive offensive plan that will include equal and or greater force.  Hopefully Israel will strike him and the people that allow themselves to be ruled by him down before any harm comes to the Israelis.  Israel has a right and a responsibility to defend herself from this loudmouth bully.  So let him refuse to talk now, at least he was given the opportunity, maybe in the future he will not get a vote and he will not be asked, he will be told what he will do with the point of a gun in his miserable face!  He only understands violence and the United States and her allies will give him what he desperately wants and needs (a good swift kick in the pants) to straighten him up.

If they use, or it appears they intend to use weapons capable of mass destruction they will be spanked and spanked hard.  I completely support a quick an surgical strike to disable his offensive weapons that would end the lives of so many people in this region if he continues to act like a bully.  This action should be followed up by a massive shadow of powerful fighter and bomber fly over's of his house and his place of government to let him know that he is not the one in charge and if he continues to act like a fool the next planes sent over will do what there best at (destroy him).

Threats like this need to be closely observed and put in there place quickly if it seems they are getting out of control.  My government (US) is far from perfect, but we have the force and the voice.  We have lots of special forces and so do our allies, we should use them to stop this nut before he can do any new damage.
