There are going to be huge protests outside the court.
If he received the heaviest penalty there is going to be an uproar adn probably civil disobedience. I believe the court will be forced to show leniency but that could still amount to five years which is a long period of incarceration, especially in primitive conditions.
He is condemned no where in the world except for his own justice system. He is acclaimed heroic throughout the Muslim world. The real question to be asked is how safe will the judges be if seen too harsh in their sentencing?
