The results of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram has been published on Wednesday My 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at its official site http://www.iist.ac.in/.

Students who appeared for the exam to be eligible for the B.Tech programme can check the results at http://www.iist.ac.in/isat2012/ online.htm.

The IIST Admission Test - ISAT 2012 was conducted on April 21, 2012 in 22 cities across India.

Due to heavy traffic, the official website is not responding at the moment. Students can check after sometime to view their results.

The ISAT enables students to take admission to the Under Graduate Programmes (B. Tech) at Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram for the year 2012.

IIST is Asia’s first Space Institute and the first in the world to offer the complete range of undergraduate, post graduate, doctoral programmes with specific focus to space science, technology and applications.

We wish the ISAT IIST 2012 students all the best.

Its mere shame, we, the Indians represent in various spheres of the world and we have noted for Information Technology, but how poor we are that one can assess, it was already second day and we are unable to open the IIST site for 2012 Result. How long we ourselves convinced to be patient in this world.

the worst part in this case is that even after 5 hours from the scheduled time of publication of the result.....and inspite of the glitch in their website, there has not been any official communication by them in this regard.....that too of an international institution like ISRO!!!!!!

`goes on to show how the government departments function.  These elite scientists made fool of tons of students and their parents by their sheer lack of knowledge and resources...

After all, they have the e-mail IDs and the mobile numbers of all the successful candidates. They could have at least informed the successful candidates their selection. Would the minister-in-charge of science and technology order an investigation in to this glitch?  Someone here questioned if we do not have the patience to wait for another day. Does he assure, it'd work fine tomorrow? Does he understand that, our unlimited patience only is the cause for all this lethargy.

Did anyone hack iist official site? Its 10:40pm, still not responding..

1
pradeep gubb

let's hope for better results buddies.....we have to wait until the result is published and we can't do any thing until the server get's up and it's an government institute and every thing will be slow don't get hurried man ...it's not like AMERICA or any european country  to be in fast and that too it's india ...and every thing will be slow man....INDIA IS STILL AN DEVELOPING COUNTRY' not yet developed...

It is not about India. The private universities in India are nicely handling online tests and results. BITS has been doing it for years. The traffic on their sites must be much higher than that on IIST. Imagine the traffic on Indian Railway's reservation site. It is nothing but total mismanagement and 'We don't care' attitude of IIST.
