This is a follow up to my story posted last week on MacLeans story on Muslims, in which the Islamic Congress went to the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal accusing MacLeans and  the  Authour of inciting racism.

The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal disagreed, so the Islamic  Congress'  President  Dr. Elsmary went a Human Rights Tribunal Shopping across Canada to British Columbia, a well known Lefty Human Rights Tribunal which will take on all comers regardless how ludicrious.

Well the tribunal's lefty style Spanish Inquisition heard all the evidence as the international community watched  in  amusement as the  BC Human Rights Tribunal "Blustered" and make fools of themselves, much to the Islamic Congress dismay.

There are now calls to the Attorney General to disband the BC Human Rights Tribunal and replace it with Real Judges and throw out the present politically appointed friends who know absolutely nothing about Law, Free Speech or anything remotely close to Human Rights for that matter.

Though it seems these Judicial Incompetents do like to wear the judicial adornments such as the White Wigs and flowing Judgeship Robes around the Cafeteria, which they feel gives them an "air of authourity" and makes them look all Lawyery.  Though a "Farcical Air of Incompetence" which is all too common in this province.

An assault on free speech in an inappropriate forumIan Mulgrew, Vancouver SunPublished: Monday, June 09, 2008

The B.C. Human Rights Tribunal has ended its inquisition of Maclean's magazine and accused hate-monger Mark Steyn after a week of international ridicule.

The obvious losers in the controversial hearing were the agency and the Canadian Islamic Congress, which accused the Toronto-based publication and the U.S.-based writer of inciting hatred against B.C. Muslims.

By pursuing this blatant assault on free speech in such an inappropriate forum, the congress drew far more attention to Steyn's two-year-old article than it deserved or would have received.

Politically appointed judges don't know the law?

What's next?

Thanks BigT, apparently it is all the rage here in Nancyland.

Hell our TopCop Solicitor General was a friggin Dairy Farmer before he entered politics. Guess Cattle Rustling and Land speculatin qualifies him, though he resigned recently when it was brought to the public's attention he may have been involved in shady land deals. Again, does this surprise anyone in Nancyland?
