Former UN Ambassador Dore Gold discusses the concept of proportionality in international law. Is Israel acting in a disproportionate manner? Dr. Gold answers no, it is Hamas who is violating international law.

This is good stuff, at least insofar as it addresses the niceties of the legalities of "the lobbing of rockets" by Hamas and Israel's mighty response.
What it doesn't address, which I think is the concern of many of us on the left, and concerned with the 'human rights' issues, is the ongoing economic blockade of Gaza.
Elsewhere on jcpa.org is this on the Irish Peace Process, and nowhere does it address the fundamental unfairness that existed in socio-economic opportunties for the repressed Catholic population. Many of us on the left argued that it was exactly this sort of economic discrimination that provided the breeding ground for terrorist forms of resistance. A similar case was of course made about South Africa, and likewise in the international community today Israel now stands accused of being an apartheid state.

The story is completely composed by the Jerusalem Center (not the foreseen 'open source' shared Jerusalem of Jews, Muslims, Christians, but the Jerusalem solely owned and administered by Israel).
The Jerusalem Center is a misinformation unit of extreme right-wing Israeli political lobby groups such as illegal settlers and proponents of neo-con pre-emptive expansion or 'growth' as they put it into Palestinian land, and the necessary mistreatment, that leads to the defense in the video above advocating and justifying of almost genocidal mass murder and multiple child murder of Gazans by the forces that the Jerusalem Center workers are paid to advocate.
The Jerusalem Center's love of war even embraces ideas, as it openly states right at the top of its Jerusalem Center About Us webpage:
"Israel's growth and survival are dependent on its winning the war of ideas. The challenges that Israel faces today are not only military. They extend to the United Nations, the mass media, foreign universities, and non-governmental organizations."
The Jerusalem Center states their position on the sharing of Jerusalem, lower down on their Aout Us webpage:
"The Jerusalem Center has been a leading voice in the campaign to maintain Israel’s capital, Jerusalem, as a united city under Israeli sovereignty."
The source and quoted 'expert' in the story above is introduced on the Jerusalem Center's About Us webpage, for any readers here looking for objectivity.
"Dr. Dore Gold, former Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations, has served since 2000 as President of the Jerusalem Center."
Dore Gold's reputation speaks for itself.
The Jerusalem Center tries to conscript Jerusalem as solely belonging to Israel in its name. It is nothing more than a very dangerous non-neutral, anti-Middle-East-peace mouthpiece and misinformation arm of the Israeli war machine as they murder children, most recently 420 in Gaza over 3 weeks. Understanding as they say that war is fought in the 'hearts and minds' they condone and promote child murder, white phosphorus bombing and other internationally illegal and atrocious mass murder methods such as the international war crime of 'disproportionate response in urban warfare'.

JudyinJerusaem, declare yourself.
Are you writing these Jerusalem Center reports independently with no financial vested interest dirctly or indirectly? Are you paid by the Jerusalem Center or an affiliate lobby group?
