However, Israeli military officials did not specifically say if the drones were actually designed for operations against Iran. Israel, which accuses Iran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, has been putting pressure on UN Security Council members to support US moves for fresh sanctions against Tehran.

When Israel is able
to bet several of these
aircraft operational in
their air force it could
change some of the
dynamics of thge Iran/Israel
balance of power.  It is for
sure something that Iran will
have to take into consideration
in any future conflict.

I'm beginning to see these "drones" as as big a threat to world peace and tranquility as terrorism.

Pushing buttons remotely and bringing death and destruction from afar is not an ability safe in the hands of unstable people, nor pre-emptively minded states like Israel.

Hmmm.

Wonder where they got the technology from............?

Drones are a war weapon and have proven effective.  They will be used moire in the future. I except to see drone tanks in a few years.   As to their threat to peace, not sure.  There could be more willingness to use them than to send a live pilot.

You just gave yourself every reason to be sure

Precisely Stejeb ! The consideration could simply become a matter of money; is our expensive bit of kit at risk of being shot down? No, may as well send it, no risk to us !

Very good points  And yes they would be more likely to be used. Still like gunpowder or tanks once a weapon proves destructive it will be built and used.
