Its now October and it would seem at least to me that is someone in Iran and in Israel kept this meeting under their hat. However Iran says it never happened and that of course must be true?

Senior Israeli and Iranian officials have met face-to-face and discussed the threat of nuclear arms, Israel says.

Israeli officials told the BBC each side attended panel sessions of a disarmament and non-proliferation conference in Cairo in September.

Iran had denied the Israeli accounts, but if confirmed it would be the first official exchange between the bitter foes since Iran's 1979 revolution.

Israel is believed to have nuclear arms and accuses Iran of seeking them too.

From Haaretz

The meeting was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Cairo under the auspices of the International Commission on Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament. Also attending were representatives of the Arab League, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Turkey, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, along with European and American officials.

How can Iran deny being there with this many participants, including the U.S.

The meeting was leaked via an Austrailia source.

Denial is part of the life style.
