This war is coming to a critical
point soon.  Israel cannot just
hold the ground it has and get
into a war of attrition but they
must either withdraw or go after
'the main Hamas forces.  A two sided
cease fire and withdrawal would be
best but that may not be possible.

"The IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) will escalate the operation in the Gaza Strip," the leaflets said in Arabic. "The IDF is not working against the people of Gaza but against Hamas and the terrorists only. Stay safe by following our orders."

The leaflets urged Gaza residents not to help Hamas, the Islamic militant group that rules Gaza, and to stay away from its members.

Israel pounded rocket sites and tunnels Saturday while its planes dropped leaflets warning of an escalation, and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas predicted a "waterfall of blood" unless all parties adhere to the U.N.'s call for a durable cease-fire.

Hamas fighters kept up attacks on southern Israel, launching 15 rockets. And with neither side ready to step down, the death toll in two weeks of fighting rose to more than 800 Palestinians, according to Palestinian medical officials, and 13 Israelis.

Flames and smoke rose over Gaza City amid heavy fighting.

World must force Israel to reced to pre 1965 position . and honour the call of U.N inchief.

Israel seems to consider the world it's enemy and trusts none. Action speaks lowder than voice.

Hi Tallison,

I  think that it is the 1967 position you are refering to. Unless you know something we all are not aware of , I am not sure that "Israel" whatever you mean by that, does not consider the "world" its enemy.

Only a few countries are actual enemies of Israel.

That will never happen.

But it should be possible to draw new borders and live in peace.
