Israeli insanity must be stopped, Hammas is no excuse to kill

Israel should have been trialled for their war crimes in Lebanon, this would have stopped them from doing the same in Gaza.

What is happening in Gaza is another illegal war and it is nothing more than genocide. In 2004 it was Hesbola to blame and now it’s Hammas. This should simply not be tolerated again, the world forgot about Lebanon, Israel got away with their war crimes very easily that is why they are so confident that they can kill innocent children, women and men and get away with it once more.

Unfortunately, they are getting away with it once more. . Again the world stands and watches the terror that is going on in Gaza , leaving those poor people defenceless. Why is it that the population of the world is shocked and wants their governments to react, but governments don’t react. What power does Israel have over the world? Is it because of world war II, well that was over a very long time ago and it certainly does not give them the right to commit such atrocities. But this would be too simple, I hope time will tell what power Israel has over the world.

My concern now is how to stop the Israeli insanity, how to stop the killing of children, women and innocent men. And once it is stopped Israel should be trialled for its war crimes, this time they should not be allowed to get away with it, otherwise they will do it again and again. Hammas is just an excuse to commit genocide. There are much more civil ways of dealing with Hammas, killing children, women and innocent men is not one of them. And targeting ambulances, mosques and schools is certainly not one of them and is not an acceptable excuse to get away with genocide. Hammas killed four Israelis, yes it is a crime too and they should be hunted like terrorists, but it is not an excuse to kill hundreds of children, women and innocent men. This is a crime that has to be stopped! That such a crime against humanity is allowed to happen in 2009, is beyond me. Even in more primitive times children and women were protected.

Hamas' objective is genocide. Hamas is a terror organization that seeks to destroy Israel and they use rockets, mortars, and suicide bombers to achieve their goals.

Hamas also commits terror against the Gazans by using them as human shields. They deliberately fire within civilian areas so as maximize civilian casualties so they can generate gory publicity.

Genocide is the planned extermination of a group of people. Hamas' charter calls for the elimination of Israel, which is genocidal. Israel deliberately refrains from targeting civilian areas.

Before Hamas Israel did business with Gaza. They purchased flowers and produce from Gazan growers and light manufacturing products from their factories. They allowed Gazans to work in Israel. They were negotiating to develop gas fields off the Gazan coasts. Israel created jobs and wealth for the Gazans. Does this sound like a people that want to commit genocide?

The Hamas are trying to get the Palestinians out of the concentration camps they have been living in since the State of Israel was created. The Israelis live in Palestinian land but they claim to be the good guys. They use Nazi tactics with the Palestinians, and if the Palestinians try to defend themselves they are terrorists and retaliation means killing them like ants. I would say that the Israelis are the criminals. Genocide is being committing by the Israelis at this very moment. It is horrifying what they are doing. Israel has defied UN call for immediate ceasefire. They are commiting war crimes by using illegal weapons. I can't watch TV anymore, it is horrendous and unbelievable.

The media in the USA give people the impression that the Hamas are terrorists. They are a group of freedom fighters trying to liberate their people. Hammas is the one who needs to stop the insanity.

It is they that are killling heir own women & children by hiding like cowards among them when they shoot into Israel.

It is Hammas that as continued to break or defy past cease fires and attempts at peace.

Israel is the only country in many many centuries to actually have contacted (in this case Cellphones) those in the areas they are beginning to attack..

No country normally would advertise 'we are attacking that building because rockets came from there'.

If he had held back like this in WWII, Hitler &/or Japan would have won the war.

The Palestinians have a real grievance: their homeland of thousands of years was taken, without their consent and mostly by force, during the creation of the state of Israel. And all subsequent crimes - on both sides - invevitably follow from this original injustice. However, what Israel is doing now is genocide. I feel for the Palestinian people, it is unbelievable that the world stands and watches. It is a crime no matter from what angle you look at it!

I am discontented to of what UN done. I thought that this issue is not talking about a country authority anymore, but it was a religion conflict. When I have seen at some news from Al Jazeera on television, many moslems who want to do congregational prayer at Al Aqso Mosque in Jerussalem has been banned. So, it is concluded that Israel violated muslims' right to prayer.

they believe in jihad war, Israel tried all the deplomatic ways to avoid war in gaza:

8 years of trying negotiations, went back from "gush katif", the other side kept on luching rockets to israeli areas, hijacked gilad shalit, building terror tunnels .etc...

I will admit what Hamas is doing; they are not always doing the right. But can you say why they are doing these to <?xml:namespace prefix = u1 /><?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Israel or is there really any reason or not? Or how many child have Hamas killed in the last few years? Will the numbers be equal to the number of child killed in the past few days? Please stop Hamas in different ways other than killing.

If you say I am one sided yes I am one sided only for the Childs and human killing. I don’t want to support any of the parties – Hamas or Israel. My only point is you can’t take revenge by killing the innocents. And there only lies the humanity. Otherwise where is different between human and animals if revenge begets revenge? If you charge your wrath over Childs then what is the point? Cant you imagine how hatred the war victims (specially Childs) will bear on human civilization for the rest of their life?

It's only "YOURS" if you can defend it. Palistine belonged to the Brittish, when the Israelis made it "THEIRS". Inept attacks by the Locals to drive them out, have failed every time. Maybe it's time the locals put away their pride and tried to come to some understanding with the Israelis. They OBVIOUSLY can't manage this by shooting rockets at them. The Locals are only forcing Israel to attack them. You lost the war , accept it, and try to get something in Peace. You are obviously poor at a soldiers art, try something else. Ghandi never shot rockets , neither did Dr. King AND they were victorious.Foolish Palestinian pride will only cause the mass suicide of those people.

Israel has thrived since it's inception, they have turned that patch of land into a MODERN country. What would the locals do with it? Builds crappy rockets to shoot at someone?

What the saddest part of this whole mess, is Israel finnaly pulls back, and Hammas celebrates it's "Victory" over the the invader and goes on a murder spee of their INTERNAL political enemies. Lame. Do they deserve a country?

Rockets aren't cheap, nor have they proven to be effective, invest in something that might improve your lives , rather than something that takes lives. Not that you will, as you are , in fact ,a bunch of barbarians. That's why the Middle East is a crappy part of the world, despite having a resource that has huge demand (that would be oil).

I am not a Palestinian, I am just one of those people around the world that are concerned and shocked with Israel and can't believe that the world stood and watched them commit genocide in the most cruel way. I'm just as shocked to read one of the comments Sharon made in 1956 posted as a comment here. This comment together with yours gives me a good idea of Israeli mentality. Sad! Very sad indeed! I know my history very well, the British were occupying Palestine it was not their country to give away. The Palestinians were not asked permission, their land was taken from them and now they live in concentration camps, that's the reality of the conflict. And Israel is a cruel occupying force. You think that you have a right to Palestine land because they could not defend it, but if they try to defend it they are wasting money? Open your eyes, your comments are cruel and unfair! How can the Palestinians defend themselves? The USA has given Israel all the most modern war equipment, like the planes and bombs they have just used to kill all those children, women and men. Hopefully the new President of the USA is a just person and will never allow this injustice to continue.
