Israel has not only threatened to wipe a country out, it has carried out multiple aggressions.  It almost wiped Lebanon out, attacked Syria for unknown reasons, attacked Iraq and every other Arab Country around.  Israel is by far the most belligerent country in the region.  Iran has not attacked another country in two centuries.

Did you know that Israel attacked a US surveillance ship called the Liberty in 1967, killing 34 US sailors and wounding 171 more, and then covered the whole thing up with the help of Washington?

Finally with point number two, and this is the kicker; Ahmedinejad is President of Iran.  He is chief administrator and nothing more!  He cannot commit the armed forces to anything.  Foreign Affairs is the exclusive realm of the Islamic Council and power to mobilize the armed forces and attack anyone rest exclusively in the hands of Imam Ali Khamenei, head of the Council.  So whatever Ahmedinejad says about war is nothing but talk.
