Israeli pm Ehud Olmert was questioned by police this morning  in connection to bribe accusations made by a wealthy  American jew Mr Moshe Talansky  that helped promote Olmert to his first major position of  Mayor of  Jerusalem.

Prime minister Olmert answerd all questions and announced he will be available any time he is called.

This new investigation opend suddenly and in a  mysterious way when the wealthy contributer went to the police while visiting Israel a few weeks ago and told them of money he gave olmert to promote his campaign  for mayor in the early 90`s.

These actions by Mr Talansky the wealthy American started many rumers and speculations and conspiracy theories regarding the timing of these new alligations against Olmert who is making progress on the Palestinian front and talks with Abu Mazen are proceeding.

It seems everytime there is progress made with the peace process these events from the past pop out and disable Olmert from continuing.

Conspiracy theories or not the bottom line is that this Mr Talansky showed up at the police station on his own good will and now Olmert is under investigation for recieving envelopes full of u.s dollars.

What's with that? Any developments? Why would this talansky do that? 'good will'

I see Talansky lied. Why? to discredit Olmert and put to naught other things?
