NP Rank:
Israelis trying to sell arms to India using Bollywood tunes :-))
Well, this is ultimate :-)).
I always used to wonder what is the meaning of the phrase "State of the art weapons".
I have no more doubts.
Never before have seen a better combination of "state" , "art" and "weapons"
Last month at a trade fair called Aero India 2009, organized by India’s Ministry of Defence, an Israeli arms maker, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, brought along the marketing video embedded above, which one defense analyst described this way:
The video is a Bollywood-style dance number featuring Israeli artists in full Bollywood costume singing in English about the potential for the Indo-Israeli defense trade relationship and dancing around mock-ups of Rafael’s products.

This is crap, utterly repugnant video which might even put the worst bollywood songs to shame.
More over we dont have a culture in which we dance around missiles and guns, pathetic!

I could not embedd the video, but it is a video from a Malayalam movie called "Sainyam" (the Military). Much worse than the Israeli Video by Rafael. Just for clarity.

Sorry, I missed that one.
I think it is outraging.

I missed your story earlier. This is an aspect of arms sales that I never dreamed of. War and weapons are soooo glamorous.

Paschen and McPhreson,
Thanks for the recommendation. I guess desperation makes people to do desperate things at desperate times :).
But I seriously doubt if a video like this would affect the decision to buy any thing, not to mention weapons of war. The military minds are too boring to be affected by such video.
That is my take .. :-)
In my opinion we just need to forget this video . This issue is too trivial to disuss in such lenghts in NP.
