Canada's national elections come 3 weeks before the US elections. Maybe they will be a preview of the US elections.

I am skeptical - Canadians pay more attention to American politics than they do Canadian politics, so I doubt if the outcome of our election will have any bearing or significance on the US election. I would assume that the majority of Americans aren't even aware that we are headed to the polls soon.

You are probably right but the two countries face some of the same problems, economy, defecits, Afghanistan, trade. Canada could show if they move ligeral or conservative.
