It’s Official: Obama Abandons Caucasian Working-Class Voters For 2012

In an article published in the UK Daily Mail, Democrat Political Party strategists reveal to the New York Times just why this coming election of 2012 will be the most divisive in modern American history. The Obama Administration will not seek to gain votes from all Americans as was the tradition of elections past.

The majority of working-class voters, by population demographics, are Caucasian, and polling shows that they have very little hope in their future prospects with a second term of a Barack Obama presidency (unless they belong to a labor Union, where folks do not have any control over dues funded political donations).

This election will become the most divisive because it will be the liberal (MSM) media’s charter to publish articles that are designed to dishearten (demonize) the white working-class voters so they will feel they are in the minority and become less inclined to show up and vote in November 2012. With a $Billion dollar campaign war chest and control of of our tax base through Federal Government bureaucracies, Barack Obama will have plenty to shower upon those groups he feels that will get him re-elected to a second term.

Obama campaign abandons white working-class voters in favor of minorities and the educated

By Daily Mail Reporter – Last updated at 5:04 PM on 28th November 2011

President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign will be the first in modern political history to abandon white working-class voters, strategists claim.

For decades, Democrats have been losing more and more blue collar whites. Their alienation helped lead to the massive Republican wave in 2010, when the GOP wooed 30 percent more of them than the Democrats could.

Democratic strategists say President Obama is focusing his attention, instead, on poor black and Hispanic voters and educated white professionals.

All pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment… and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic,’ longtime political reporter Thomas B. Edsall wrote in an opinion piece in the New York Times.

‘The 2012 approach treats white voters without college degrees as an unattainable cohort,’ he writes later.
—-
Ruy Teixeira, a strategist at the liberal Center for American Progress, wrote in 1995 that if President Clinton couldn’t win white blue collar workers, his re-election bid would be doomed.

Fast forward 15 years and Tiexeria has made an about-face: ‘The Republican Party has become the party of the white working class,’ he told the New York Times recently.

However, he warns that losing whites without college degrees altogether would be disastrous. There simply are not enough college-educated whites, Hispanics and blacks who will make a Democratic majority.
—-
Instead, as two Democratic strategists lay out, the president’s 2012 re-election campaign will likely rely on winning over new ‘young people, Hispanics, unmarried women and affluent suburbanites.’

This means President Obama is leaving aside industrial states like Ohio and Indiana, both of which he won in 2008. Instead, he is courting states like North Carolina, Virginia, New Hampshire and Colorado. All of those states have large populations of well-educated, white collar white professionals.

States like Ohio and Indiana, which President Obama claimed in 2008, are likely out of the question in 2012, strategists say, because they have fewer minorities and more blue collar white workers.

So basically, the re-elect Barack Obama 2012 campaign will repaint the political electoral map of the United States not as Red States (GOP) and Blue States (DNC) but as Black States and White States here during Carter’s Second Term!

This is a racist posting.

Since Obama is playing the race card any commentary on that automatically becomes racist. It's a shame partisan hacks like YJ can't stop dissembling and face the facts. It's not the first time for Obama to pit the races against one another to garner votes. Actually, it's become the expected norm. Especially after his speech to the [CBC] Congressional Black Caucus.

A racist posting ... repeating the facts and opinions delivered by the UK Daily Mail based on statements reported by the New York Times by Democrat Political Party operatives ... that would be the race postulating Democratic Party.

Quote from article:

[Barack Obama and the Democrat Political Party] is courting states like North Carolina, Virginia, New Hampshire and Colorado. All of those states have large populations of well-educated, white collar white professionals.

States like Ohio and Indiana, which President Obama claimed in 2008, are likely out of the question in 2012, strategists say, because they have fewer minorities and more blue collar white workers.

According to the article, the Democrat party will only recognize states with White people in them, if the White people are educated ... their words and calculations - "It's Official"!

.... conservative pundits—who are either incapable of distinguishing between politics and policy or who choose not to when it suits their agenda—have rushed to claim that Obama is abandoning the interests of the white working class. They do not cite an iota of evidence for this assertion, because none exists.

The most egregious example, flagged on Monday by Slate’s Dave Weigel came from Fox Nation. The website’s headline for its link to Edsall’s post? “NYT: Democratic Party Operatives Plan to Abandon White Working Class.” As Weigel notes, they also inserted a photo of Obama grimacing and waving and his wife next to a headless black person with his arms folded.

As Weigel explains, “The funny thing here is that ‘abandoning’ the white working class means ‘continuing to lose voters who have been voting Republican since 1966.’ Obama isn't switching policies in or out of a playbook because whites won't vote for him.”

On Tuesday Weigel caught two more items repeating the false abandonment meme. Former Reagan speechwriter Peter Robinson points to Edsall’s piece as evidence that Democrats are no longer looking out for working-class white voters. “The Democratic Party of Franklin Roosevelt and John Kennedy and Hubert Humphrey—the party that prided itself on championing the ordinary working American—has utterly vanished,” Robinson concludes. There is, of course, no evidence to support the statement that Democrats no longer champion the interests of working-class voters. More odiously, Robinson conflates whites without a college degree with “the ordinary working American.” Is that because African-Americans, Asian-Americans and Latinos are not “ordinary Americans”? Or is it because Robinson thinks they don’t work for a living?

It’s worth noting that the Democratic Party’s commitment to social insurance and equality applies equally to whites and non-whites. Rich non-whites would go back to paying their Clinton-era tax rates under Obama’s plan. Poor whites receive Medicaid and food stamps. Everyone receives Social Security and Medicare when they turn 65. Indeed, whites living below the poverty line remain more Democratic than middle-class whites, and for good reason. Middle-class whites have plenty of reasons to vote Democratic too, but Republicans have successfully capitalized on their cultural resentments.

Quite honestly, these tactics sound eerily reminiscent of, or a possible continuation of, the Southern Strategy said to have been named by Richard Nixon's strategist Kevin Phillips, a strategy developed in the 1960s, meant to scare the White electorate of America into the Republican Party which, at the time, was portrayed as the only party concerned with the interests of the majority of White voters.

This strategy was implemented and has been used by the Republican Party for over 40 years.

Former Republican Party presidential candidate Patrick J. Buchanan, who also wrote speeches for Richard Nixon, the same boss as the above mentioned Kevin Phillips, has been beating that drum for all of those 40 years.

Will Right Wing Madness Totally Consume the Republican Party?

In other news, Ron Paul is abandoning his white racist supporters, in an attempt to win the Republican primary in Iowa. Paul claims he was too busy practicing medicine and didn't know that white racists were using his news letter to spread racist invective.

Well, Nanute, IF he has abandoned them, they still support him big time!

The Republican presidential candidate is a perennial favorite among those on the white supremacist message board Stormfront, where he's getting all kinds of unabashed support for his campaign, his newsletters, and his political persona in general. Paul has already said he doesn't want white supremacists' support. But like it or not, he's got it. And stories like the newsletter thing really seem to lock that support down even tighter.

For the sake of your browsing history, we're going to put a * next to links that will take you to Stormfront or sites like it. We could have used one of those from Slate's Dave Wiegel when he tweeted today: "Shockingly, Stormfront commenters believe that Paul's newsletters are right and awesome," with a link that led to a very white-power themed discussion* of how great Paul was when he walked off a CNN interview Wednesday.

"Everyone would go back to Clinton era tax rates under Obama." What a load of crap. Leftist [progressive] wannabe's have been singing that mantra of 'making the rich pay' since 2008 and Obama has not only continued but, expanded the Bush tax cuts. When exactly does this big move to higher taxation take place? After the next election? When Obama wont give a shite one way or the other. Or after the Democrats brow beat the Republican House into passing even more tax cuts. How clueless  can you be. LOL.

The original Daily Mail article is not openly racist. It is just sensationalizing a campaign focus to try and imply an anti-white motif.  The preamble prior added by the author here, Jenks,  is just adding an ideologue's favoring in an apparent intent to further inflame the emotionalism of the original. Again. I don't think the intent racist just trying to extend a thematic implied by the Daily Mail journalist and is of course blatantly biased against the Obama Administration. In my opinion, the original article wasn't particularly of merit and the commentary certainly doesn't add any, but I sure it helped enrage the sympathetic readership even more. Happy Holidays!
