The Tea Parties are a protest to show the White House and the Congress that Citizens will not be a silent majority as our debt levels will reach far beyond what our grand children can pay.

I’m hearing from lots of first-time activists who have found overlapping networks. The same principles that unite the “We Surround Them” effort also are in sync with the tax revolters. Synergy is good. We need every body and mind in motion we can get.)

Nationwide Tax Day Tea Party :: April 15th, 2009 What is the Tea Party Movement?
Building upon the success of the February 27th "Chicago Tea Party" Rallies, many of the organizers are now working to develop an even larger day of protests set to happen on April 15th, 2009.
These protests are known as the Tax Day Tea Party rallies.
Our goal with this website is to try and help pull a lot of the Tea Party event organization in to one easy to navigate and user friendly place on the web. We learned, after much feedback, that one of the biggest frustrations was the difficulty in finding information. Our hope is that this website will solve a lot of these problems.

Al, I am going to ask for that day off. Assume I will get it and then look forward to some photos from one of the larger city events. My guess, however, is that the event might be more successful in a Red state or a more rural area where people are more in touch with this subject.
Also, is this site the best one to look for information at?

Time for a revolt here in Homer Alaska also. The lazy liberals have taken over our city and borough councils. Time to send a message they will not tax us from our homes, tax us from our pay checks, and tax us from our futures. And don’t forget, victims are scared, patriots are angry. I will be there with a pitch fork, as the only thing they will respond to at this point is our wrath.
