Jackie Buyher Missing: Word Spreading on the Internet (Video)
Reports Have Begun Circulating About 16-Year-Old Jackie Buyher Who Has Been Missing Since November 3 in Indiana
Update: 12:49pm PT
Thankfully Jackie Buyher has been found safe and sound at a friend's house. Her mother said Facebook was a blessing and thanks those who helped spread the word about her missing daughter. Good to have a happy ending and to know this story was not a hoax!
There have been notices posted on Facebook and a number of other sites about the missing teen, however some Internet users have also been calling this a hoax as no official missing persons report or Amber Alert can be found at this time.
When it comes to missing children we feel that it is always wiser to assume the reports are true rather than dismiss them as a hoax right away, but there are many questions remaining around this story.
According to postings on Facebook by someone called Rachel Kunes Buyher, Jackie Buyher has been missing from the northwest side of Evansville IN since Wednesday November 3. She is 16-years-old and is about 5ft 6 with sandy straight brown hair, weighing about 120 lbs with hazel eyes.
She has reportedly not been seen since last Wednesday.
A missing person's report has been filed with the Evansville Police Dept., and recently has expanded to a nation-wide alert. If anyone has seen her, or think they may know her whereabouts, please dial 911 and report any information you may have to the Evansville PD.
There are no amber alerts listed for the state of Indiana, nor is there any report for the name of Jackie Buyher on the missing children website for Indiana, but there are some cross-postings on Facebook and other sites asking for help finding this missing girl.
We have posted a video from YouTube below with a photo of who we are to assume is Jackie Buyher, but the voice is computerized and at the end the following message appears: 'This video was not created or requested by Jackie Buyher's parents. Jim Deel Sr created this video for YouTube'.
There are some Internet results for someone by the name of Jim Deel Sr, but of course it is difficult to tell if it is the same person.
We hope this is not a hoax as missing children is not a joke, but we also hope that Jackie Buyher, wherever she may be, is alive and well and happy and that if she is missing then we help to spread the news to find her safe and sound.
