Teen Couple Jackson Powell and Nicole Dones Still Missing

Last seen two days after their senior prom in Miami, 18-year-old Jackson Powell and his girlfriend, 17-year-old Nicole Dones have been missing for 11 days. 

Nicole Dones and Jackson Powell have been described by Miami-Dade police as a modern-day Romeo and Juliet, as Dones' family did not want their daughter dating Powell; Powell's family also didn't want their sone dating Dones.

"I think there was an intense connection between the two of them that they probably weren't mature enough to handle," said Margie Chavez, mother of Nicole Dones. 

Both families say that they want their kids to return home safely.

The couple have been off the radar since April 18, and were due to graduate from Palmetto High School.
