Twitter conspiracy theorists maintain that the man who appeared in court in Centennial, Colorado, on July 23 was not shooter James Holmes.

James Holmes is the sole suspect in the July 20th 'Dark Knight Rises' shooting in Aurora, Colorado. Later that morning, his school I.D. photo was released online so the world could see who had done such a horrible thing.

His photo I.D. shows a normal adult, smiling for his picture: dark hair and eyes, and a nice smile. During his preliminary court hearing, he looked much different, with orange hair, bugged out eyes and an emotionless expression.

Now, conspiracy theorists are claiming that the two pictures are actually of two different people; the real James Holmes is free and an imposter is in jail in place of him.

The conspiracy theorists have posted an analysis of his student ID picture versus the way he looked in court. Come on, people. Why would the authorities put a fake Holmes in the courtroom? Not many people look the same as their ID after being in college awhile.

Well who ever thinks this is an imposter is mislead. The reason that James Holmes ear looks so much bigger in the mug shot is that his face is off center. You can clearly see that his head is turned to the left side a bit so it make an illusion of a bigger ear. And for the nose part when u smile your nostrils flare thus making them larger, unlike when you have a serious face (you can check in the mirror with your own face). thank you for reading the truth. :)

(if you really did lose a person in this massacre), why after experiencing such pain(I'm assuming you were in love) would you wish that exact pain on another, just for being unable to sympathize? Is this the way you want the world to look? Victims intent on visiting the atrocity on another.Would you not like the correct person to be punished? Or are you so angry that you want anyone to be punished, regardless of guilt.There ARE photo discrepancies. Whether that changes the man's identity or not should be pretty easy to determine by authorities. A blood test and dental exam, or DNA test should do it.If one is of the opinion that a cabal of shadow government types swapped out the guy for whatever reason, no amount of conversation will wrest that thought from the person's mind. So in this way, it is pointless to argue, and you could probably be spending your time grieving in a way that does not bring grief to others. All you are doing here on this page is twisting your finger in the wound because A: you are in shock and can't feel a thing, or B: you are trying to use another's tragedy to gain sympathy from those around you, so you manufacture the emotional pain as proof of your right to make demands on other people. If that is the case, it is despicable behavior. Honor your boyfriend's memory properly.

It's almost as if these pictures were taken at different times, under different circumstances, with his face at a different angle, with different lighting, with a different expression on his face, with a different hair color, and with a different basic hair style.

maybe because as someone in a college environment, he was viewed as a perfect test subject. individuals at his school were maybe all exposed to a virus that only effects certain types, male, race, etc. This virus stayed dormant until activated with a particular frequency which instructed the virus to begin replicating (like herpes). Maybe it was a social destabilization weapon test. Maybe it was to get us to give up guns. (notice that after people did not respond with a gun law, there have been more "mass shootings") Maybe what it did was alter his brain patterns to make him violent and suggestible. Schizophrenic Psychosis by perscription. If they picked unstable guys to test it on and stable ones as a control group, they might be able to have a weapon that makes potentially unbalanced people "pop". They would have to switch guys so that this extreme chemical brain alteration would not show up in an eventual autopsy. Or maybe they wanted to dissect the real James Holmes to see exactly what it did. Maybe they gave the replacement a chemical lobotomy.I would not even begin to believe in this as a conspiracy if it has not been for the fact that all "micro-science" engineer types get handled somehow. Neurosurgeons that go in to brain surgery professionally are the exception. But microbiology engineers and the like are left in college as teachers, pushed into simple surgery, brought into the cia/nsa , or killed.(example Dan Burisch saga) At least that is how it seems.It is like there is information on a tiny scale that they really do NOT want us to know. Like maybe their capabilities in that department.You could imagine forever and probably be no closer though, unfortunately. "need to know" will always block the public from the pure unadulterated truth

But his eye color is totally different! Unless those are contacts in the first photo, then those are totally different guys. It even said in the article that his eyes are dark, but in the second picture his eyes are definitely blue. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but that's just my opinion.

The eyes aren't even the same color/shape. The hair isn't the same texture and the shape of the face isn't even the same. Also, you should learn proper spelling and grammar before calling others 'idiot losers'.

Quite possibly the dumbest "conspiracy" stretch I've ever seen. Look at the mole to the lower left of his mouth in the photo. Also, ear cartilage patterns are unique just like fingerprints and even on these crappy photos you can see that the ear on the right is a pattern match in both photos.
