NP Rank:
Is the "James Holmes" Captured By Police an Imposter?
Twitter conspiracy theorists maintain that the man who appeared in court in Centennial, Colorado, on July 23 was not shooter James Holmes.
James Holmes is the sole suspect in the July 20th 'Dark Knight Rises' shooting in Aurora, Colorado. Later that morning, his school I.D. photo was released online so the world could see who had done such a horrible thing.
His photo I.D. shows a normal adult, smiling for his picture: dark hair and eyes, and a nice smile. During his preliminary court hearing, he looked much different, with orange hair, bugged out eyes and an emotionless expression.
Now, conspiracy theorists are claiming that the two pictures are actually of two different people; the real James Holmes is free and an imposter is in jail in place of him.
The conspiracy theorists have posted an analysis of his student ID picture versus the way he looked in court. Come on, people. Why would the authorities put a fake Holmes in the courtroom? Not many people look the same as their ID after being in college awhile.

I think that they are two different people, because of the eye color. In the school I.D. he has brown eyes, the guy with orange hair has blue. I mean you could wear colored contacts, but thats stupid. He looks completely different than the guy who did the shooting. Plus the hair color, in the I.D. he has short brown thick hair, and the picture of the guy who did it, he has orange, a tiny bit longer, and thinner hair. His eyes are not only a different color, but they are bug eyed. The I.D. picture, he has thicker eyebrows and a wider nose bridge. Plus his nose is shorter than the guy who did it. The guy who did it, has a much shorter face. But why dont they compare their DNA, or their finger prints? Or their face structure?

I have dyed my hair multiple colors, and put different colored contacts. Does that make me an imposter of myself?

the government has been openly displaying all this info right at wikipedia for years. Your all just too lazy and dumb to do your own real research and connect the dots on what it really means
they tell you right at wikipedia that they participate in these kind of events all the time right under your noses. they just claim they do not use these tactics on american population - YEA RIGHT. open your eyes you will see they always have for your entire life!

What did the government do here, and what do they have to gain from switching an impostor for the person who really did it?

WOW. So many people with so much time to waste. So many. So much. You guys should start practicing some form of physical activity. Something that requires hours of practice everyday, away from computers. Then go home, have dinner, read a BOOK and go to sleep. Repeat the next day. Until your last day. Maybe that way, the rest of us people (those who know that humans look different when smiling compared to when they are dazed, drugged on heavy anti-psychotics, traumatized and clueless) will be able to get on the internet without hearing such fallacies. So many people. With so much time to waste...

I get that faces look different in pictures with different facial expressions, which is why they don't want you to smile now in your ID picture. Its about face recognition software. I should know, as I have worked at the DMV in Indiana for 7 years. However, anti-psychotic drugs and changes in facial expressions do not change the structure of your nose. Neither do angles. Plastic surgery will change your nose, but not anti-psychotic drugs. That's just a silly assertion. Look, I'm not saying that this is two different people, dude could have had plastic surgery for all we know, but there is no denying that those are two different noses, unaffected by drugs and facial expressions.

Let me be the first journalist to predict that movie massacre suspect James Holmes turns up DEAD in his jail cell and authorities will call it a "suicide." This suspect shows all the hallmarks of a Manchurian Candidate, mind-controlled over a period of months via electromagnetic radio frequency weapon attack. I know about this weapon system FIRST HAND since I have been under RF attack for more than EIGHT YEARS and have EXPOSED the the U.S. government weapon system that is being covertly used to assault, entrain, impair, harm and slow-kill U.S. citizens slandered as "dissidents," mentally ill, or as "pre-criminals." The technology referred to does exist and has even been demonstrated publicly. Just in the past 3 years leaders of 2 nations have accused other countries of using this technology on them. Microwave, EM, and sonic technologies can do some amazing things, like putting voices into a person's head. AND, in spite of all the foilish remarks I see about tin foil hats, the fact is that a faraday cage will actually stop radio waves from reaching you. Just build one and place a cell phone in it to see if you get a signal. For a demonstartion of this technology check episodes of Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory, the HAARP episode. He participates in a demo of sonic and radio wave versions of these devices.

This the dumbest shit I have ever heard...this fool shot and killed my boyfriend and several friends of mine. I was in a theatre next to this one where a bullet came through the wall and lodged in a chick's chin three rows ahead of us. This is the same moron that shot up the place....this moron with dyed hair, raised eyebrows, years older, red hair, fake coma like stare and bright light is the same fool that has changed a lot of folks lives forever. You don't think it's him fine I hope him and his arsenal of weapons comes to a theatre near you and hope every one of you fools are in attendance....then talk about how high one of his eyebrows is than the other. What a bunch of morons?

First off.. If you really were at that showing of batman I am deeply sorry for any loss. But if you are posting non- true statements and wishing this tragedy on anyone else shame on you. This was a very serious tragedy and for you to wish it upon someone else makes you just as bad as the original shooter.

I don't know what kind of drugs he's on, but could be scopolamine. He could have been dosed with it over months, ordered to shoot up the theater, done it, and had no memory of it. You can even buy scopolamine over the counter.

The person who wrote the article is clearly an imbecile, and there isn't even any way to check the writer's credibility, as the link on their name directs you to another article from a DIFFERENT author!Secondly, the college psychiatrist had been seeing this guy for months, and actually raised red flags to her colleagues and even the police about this guy, but for lack of evidence at the time, they did nothing. He was mentally disturbed, and the psychiatrist at his university knew it. Now, do you really think that they could "make up" this college's psychiatrist? Do you really think people from the college wouldn't have gone, "Hey! That psychiatrist is not from our school?! What is going on here?!". But that's not happening. What is happening is stupid people buying into propaganda that has no foundation in reality.Do some research into how these things happen and you'll realize that this scenario is not uncommon. As far as the argument on how he afforded all this, I could come up with countless explanations. Student loans, mommy and daddy giving him money, grant/scholarship funds, and the list goes on. Again, to think automatically that because he had a lot of costly artillery and other weapons means it is a conspiracy is absurd! I lived in the Hamptons for years. The most common present for girls as a sweet 16 party in the Hamptons? Boob jobs! So, don't act like some kids aren't spoiled, or that you can't get loans that far exceed your college tuition.Last, this guy had his masters and was working on his Phd. I saw a picture where a grunt from the military said he was taught by the military, and even he couldn't do what this kid did. Well here's the thing... you are a military grunt!!! Of course you are a moron compared to a person with a masters in the sciences! His damn major directly coincides with the ability to make these types of weapons! I mean how stupid does someone have to be? In order for "the government" to have made this up, they would've had the college lie for them, the parents lie, the witnesses lie, the police lie, the lawyers lie, a psychiatrist from the college lie, his friends/roomates lie, etc. Anyone who can convince themselves there is any conspiracy here is just as delusional as this guy is.

Look at higher quality photos of these two, and it's clear as day it IS the same person. Notice the curvature of the upper lip, the left ear being slightly higher up on his head than the right one, and how the left eye looks ever so slightly up and to the left. There are many other photos where his nose is more narrow as in the one with the red hair, and something as simple as allergies can cause flared nostrils! It's not a conspiracy, it's people with nothing better to do than to "hope" for a conspiracy, or people who are so gullible as to buy into something without investigating further (aka idiots). It's this kind of thing that discredits those who actually have valid conspiracies. This isn't even considering the idiocy of failing to take into consideration the family of James has been interviewed, and not ONCE have they ever denied that it is their son.

Those of you who believe the man in jail isn't James Holmes, you are retarded. It is a shitty college ID photo. I'm sorry, how many of you look identical to it? Cause I can tell you I look NOTHING like my college ID picture. Oh his eyes are a different color? That's because its shitty quality you idiots.
at 20:49 on August 3rd, 2012
the ears are clearly the same in both photos. Any other anomalies can be attributed to the lighting in each photo being different, his skin being less or more tanned, etc. His parents haven't come out and said you have the wrong guy- but I guess they are imposters too, right?
and stupid conspiracy theorists always attribute their own silly errors and ignorance to be proof of the conspiracy and that they are enlightened and others are sheeple.
It's too bad Holmes didn't shoot up a conspiracy theory convention.

There are 3 letters to truly prove your theory: DNA. Whoever posted this conspiracy might know the 'Joker-poser' and be providing an alibi. I suggest that the prosecution would do better to prove his DNA is consistent to the ones of his family to put to rest this theory. DNA markers are not easy to fake.
at 01:41 on August 7th, 2012
The authorities prosecuting this case aren't taking any impostor conspiracy theories seriously so will not do a DNA test to confirm his identity.
If they were and they did, conspiracy theorists would simply claim it's the same authorities perpetrating the conspiracy and faked the results.
Most conspiracy theorists have some level of mental illness, which motivates a paranoid distrust of authority and a belief their morals are pure and everyone else's are easily corrupted- as well as a disingenuous arrogance that their own ignorance amounts to enlightenment over the "sheeple". You see this embodied time and time again in those advancing 9/11 conspiracy theories.
Don't expect a rational argument to convince them.

lol it really is crazy, I think it's more believable that James Holmes was framed. The guy on the left looks like a happy james holmes, the guy on the right looks like the same guy but drugged or shocked
