Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will not run for Senate in 2010.  Although frequently mentioned as a candidate to replace the retiring Sen. Mel Martinez (R-FL), the brother of the current president and son of former President George Bush has decided against a run at this time, according to CNN.

"Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush ruled out a 2010 bid for the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, saying in a written statement that 'while the opportunity to serve my state and country during these turbulent and dynamic times is compelling, now is not the right time to return to elected office.'"
