Governor Mark Sanford has been a great leader to South Carolina. However personal issues like this one could bring great effect in his name and most especially to his family. The news has been heating up, as the South Carolina governor returns from his Argentina trip and reports surface about the Mark Sanford Mistress. The Mark Sanford mistress is Maria Belen Shapur, a figure who is enigmatic except for Gov. Sanford's affection for said figure. Journalists discovered the affair and met him at the airport telling him to fess up or face the music, no matter how much fast cash he offered to quash the story. He left the state untended, his children alone on Father's Day to tango – as it were – in Argentina, ironic considering his denunciation of Bill Clinton's extracurriculars, and many would give payday loans to hear from the Mark Sanford mistress about her side.
