TOP Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson today apologised after describing Prime Minister Gordon Brown as "a one-eyed Scottish idiot".He said in a statement issued by the BBC: "In the heat of the moment I made a remark about the Prime Minister's personal appearance for which, upon reflection, I apologise."
The BBC later issued a brief statement in the wake of the Clarkson apology.

I think it was perhaps the word "idiot" that was objectionable! But I guess, we've got this one-eyed Scot wouldn't have been much better. LOL

I love how he apologized for his comment about his personal appearance, but not about his way of running the country!

It's not that bad calling someone an idiot, it's just a name but he pointed out and slagged Brown on his disability then brought his race into it.
Scot's and the English sometimes have pops at each other and he was clearly being racist to an extent or there would have been no reason to mention his nationally.

I also think that brown is a Scottish Idiot but there is no racialism intended if he was English I would be call him a English Idiot. He was a bad choice after Blair and does belong to the original Scottish Oxford club that took over the Labour Party presenting a right wing socialist entity that looked like and adapted form of Thatcher-ism. he was one of the weaker members of the team but he does have a flare for economics and in good times his principles did seem to work.
But since the corruption scandel at number 10 Downing Street and lack of confidence in a Prime Minister that lied in unison with Bush, Gordon Brown took the seat of power and since then has proved to the British and the world that he is a blow-ed up puffin with many good ideas but politically no true character and it would seem its become a practice of British politics after a strong minded Prime Minister is ousted from power a weak buffoon is the replacement when a politic party knows its going to lose total control of administration. The fact this guys got one eye I must say its the first time I have heard this and it would not effect my opinion of this weak leader, left with nothing but the need to lie and invent new forms propaganda to defend an administration foiled by its own corruption. I feel sorry for Gordon and the Global financial problem and its hype crushed his idea, and it was his idea, to bail out the Banks that has been thought to be one way to stop a depression and maybe it would of worked if the hype was less and the biasness of opposing the idea was not strong . The problem with the idea is using tax money and the callousness and corruption of those bailed out.
However Jeremy Clarkson is one for telling how he see's things a spades a spade. What ever the official opoligy his thought to my mind are clearly correct, however tut tut about the one eye, but it certainly made me smile.

I think Geremy has exposed the farce about the "appologising" practice in this government.
Kids in schools are taught to appologise. So they sware at teachers and then appologise. The headmaster then thinks it is all over. The kid does not even know what an appology means.
I remember tony blair and other parliament members appologising. Lets have all the criminals appologising and then they can be proper citizens again!.

Could be much worse, he could have made comment on the way he drives!
