Jerusalem Bus Station Terror Attack: 1 Killed, 31 Wounded

A bomb exploded at a crowded bus stop outside Jerusalem's International Convention Center. 31 people were wounded, according to Haaretz. The Jerusalem Post reports that one woman was killed in the bomb attack.

The bomb was hidden in a bag left by a payphone. The blast blew out the windows of two crowded buses.

The Jerusalem bus stop bombing has been labeled a terrorist attack, and is the first Jerusalem bomb attack in four years.

Meir Hagid, one of the bus drivers, said he heard a loud explosion as he drove by the site, located near the main entrance to Jerusalem and its central bus station.

"I heard the explosion in the bus stop," he said. He halted his vehicle and people got off. He said nobody in his bus was hurt.
