This whole David Petraeus thing gets weirder by the day. First, the Petraeus affair introduced us to Paula Broadwood, the woman he was having an affair with. Then we learned about husband Scott Broadwood, who may have penned a letter to the New York Times about the whole mess. Now we have Jill Kelley, the woman who may have been the one who helped out the whole Petraeus-Broadwood affair.

According to reports, Jill Kelley claims she received threatening emails from Paula Broadwood, telling her to stay away from Petraeus. The New York Post says the emails may have included phrases like ''I know what you did'', ''back off'' and ''stay away from my guy''.

Who is Jill Kelley?

Kelley is the State Department's liaison to the military's Joint Special Operations Command. She lives in Tampa, Florida and is reportedly friendly with Petraeus. Broadwood reportedly thought Kelley was a little too friendly and sent her threatening emails. That led the FBI to investigate Broadwood, uncovering her affair with the former CIA Director.

A 2010 Tampa Bay Times story says Jill and her husband Scott, who works as a surgeon, were friendly with David and Holly Petraeus. The couples spent time together at Tampa Bay's Gasparilla Pirate Fest.

Another 2007 story says Jill and Scott Kelley live in a "regal brick mansion" with their three children.

It's important to note that no media reports have suggested that Kelley had an affair with Petraeus, just that Broadwood may have been jealous of her relationship with the former CIA Director. The nature of the relationship between Petraeus and Kelley remains unclear.
