Jim Mitchell's Son James Mitchell Arrested for Murder

James Mitchell, son of porn pioneer Jim Mitchell, was arrested in Novato, CA following the murder of his girlfriend and abduction of his daughter, Samantha Mitchell. Samantha Mitchell was recovered unharmed.

James Mitchell and his girlfriend (whose name has not been released) lived in Pittsburg, but she had gone back to Novato to stay with her mother, Claudia Stevens, following a series of domestic disputes. Mitchell's girlfriend was found dead in Claudia Stevens' yard yesterday evening, and an Amber Alert was issued for Samantha Mitchell. According to Stevens, Mitchell has a history of drug abuse and violent behaviour.
