Two prominent leaders of the Baloch in North America in an open letter to the United Nations have deplored the Nazi-style execution of three Baluchistan political activists by Pakistan's rogue army.

In an open letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Zafar Baloch, a leader of the Baloch Human Rights Council of Canada and Rashid Baloch, presiding council member of the American Friends of Baluchistan, said the mountains of Balochistan are once again red with the blood of the best sons of the soil and the entire Baloch nation is in mourning.

Their missive said:

You might be well aware Ghulam Mohammed Baloch, 45, president of the Balochistan National Movement; Lala Munir Baloch,50, a central leader of the BNM and Sher Mohammed Baloch, 35, deputy general secretary of the Balochistan Republican Party were abducted from their lawyer's office in Turbat by sleuths of Pakistan's infamous Inter Services Intelligence and Military Intelligence on April 3.

Five days later their mutilated bodies were recovered from Pidarak, near the town of Turbat.

It is now known the Pakistani intelligence officials shot the three dead immediately after their arrest.

History bears testimony when the best sons of the soil give their blood for their motherland, nation-states are born. Balochistan as the very name says is the land of the Baloch and Pakistan or for that matter Iran shoud have no right to be the masters of our national destiny or arbiters of our fate.

The Baloch were denied statehood because of a flawed policy of the British Imperial rulers under Lord Mountbatten. Does it mean the Baloch should be denied statehood to this day.

A Baloch martyr, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, former chief minister and governor of Balochistan who was killed by the Pakistan army extrajudicially on August 26, 2006 had said on record a rape committed many decades ago does not turn into a consensual relationship with the passage of time.

What the slain leader, who has become a folk hero after his death, meant was that Pakistan's illegal anexation of Balochistan on March 27, 1948 – seven months after the British left India divided in August 1947 – could never be justified. You might be knowing thousands of Baloch have been killed during four military operations in Balochistan.

Is not this the worst kind of inhumanity that there are only three hospitals but 18 military cantontments in Balochistan. Is this not the worst kind of indecency that natural gas is produced in Baluchistan but the overwhelming majority people there still use cow dung to cook their food? Is this not a nonsense the coasts on the Baloch Gulf –some mistakenly call it the Persian or Arabian Gulf -- belong to the Baloch, but the Punjabis are building naval bases there against Baloch wishes? How could the Pakistan army test nuclear weapons in illegally annexed Balochistan and put the future of humanity at stake when overwhelming majority of Baluch people do not have access to clean drinking water?

Legendary Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Khair Bakhsh Marri, whose son Balach Marri gave his life for Balochistan, and who played a crucial role in winning freedom for John Solecki, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, has made it clear he can co-exist with pigs, but not with Punjabis.

Likewise, a third leader, Sardar Atallah Mengal, whose son Aasadullah Mengal was slain by Pakistan's ISI way back in 1976, had clearly said the ideology of Pakistan had drowned in the Bay of Bengal in 1971, when Bangladesh won independence from Pakistan after similar military brutalities.

The Baloch have nothing to do with Pakistan, the so-called “Land of the Pure.” The word itself was coined only in the 1940s and did not exist in the Urdu lexicon prior to that, while Balochistan has thousands of years of history, archeaological excavations have revealed.

The Baloch believe the founder of Pakistan, Mohammed Ali Jinnah was the first among the thugs. The tuberculocis-ridden, alcoholic and pork-eating leader who became a British stooge to pit Muslims against Hindus, got prime properties left by rich Hindu merchants In Karachi converted in his name on the pretext he left his property in Bombay.

We Baloch think Jinnah of Pakistan was a big time liar and fraud and in any case our ancestral homeland Balochistan was never meant to become part of Pakistan.

Is the entire world blind to see there are dozens of Arab nations, why then did Osama bin Laden and Ayman Alzawahiri, who are Arabs, chose to make Pakistan their home? Why have 10,000 Islamic terrorists found a safe haven in Pakistan? Such things do not happen by mistake, without state tutelage.

The main problem of Pakistan is its army that has ruled over the country for more than half of its so-called independent existence. These generals are trained to think they are born to rule.

Pakistan army generals have a sick mindset. For them Afghanistan is their enemy because the American and Western “infidels” want to vanquish Islam there; for them, Hindus of India want to conquer Pakistan and sleep with their women –although it was Pakistani soldiers who raped 200,000 Muslim women in former East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. Pakistan army is forcing Baloch women into sex slavery as the case of Zarina Marri, 23, in recent months revealed; for the Pakistani generals the Jews are conspiring to turn Muslims into slaves.

Such is the ideology of the army GHQ in Rawalpindi that has turned Pakistan into a breeding ground and nursery for Al Qaeda and Taliban.

We want to ask you honorable secretary general to hold the Pakistan army culpable for war crimes against our nation. The only crime of Ghulam Mohammed, Lala Munir and Sher Mohammed Baloch, was that they dreamed to see Balochistan as an independent nation on the world map one day. It is our promise to make their dream come true.

We urge you to work towards balkanization of Pakistan and admitting the Baloch nation as a sovereign state among the comity of nations.

The Baloch will never accept any thing less than that.

Meanwhile, the Baloch are demanding of the UN to intervene in Baluchistan.

Turbat: Local sources and relative of Ghulam Mohammad Baloch President of BNM, Lala Munir Ahamed Baloch cc member of BNM and Sher Mohammad Baloch a senior leader of BRP have reported that all the three Baloch political leaders have been martyred by the Pakistani agencies in cold blood. The mutilated and decomposed bodies of the three leaders were found by locals in Padarak area of Turbat.

Eyes-witnesses say that looking at the bodies of Baloch leaders one can easily conclude that these men have been shot from very close range and were martyred on the very first day. Some residents of the area believe that their bodies were thrown into mountains from helicopters. These claims of the locals cannot be rejected because such incidents have taken place in the past.

Press reports said Baluchistan plunged into crisis after the killings and the Punjabi settler communities were being attacked.

Baloch political groups and bar associations gave a call for a general strike on Friday and Saturday and a wheel-jam strike on Sunday to condemn the killings. Lawyers will boycott courts till Saturday. Nationalist parties also announced seven-day mourning in Balochistan and other parts of the country.

Joshi-babu,

by responding with hate for his hateful posts you are not doing any good. you should let him express his views and let the world be the judge.

whatever his mental state, he puts a lot of time and effort in his hate mongering something good might turn up in the end. he might get bored or satisfied but inciting a flame war will only cause more harm than any good.
