Joe Dado, a freshman Penn State student who has been missing since 3 o' clock Sunday morning, was found dead by repairmen, associated content reports. Joe Dado was last seen leaving a party hosted by fraternity Phi Gamma Delta.

An investigation had been underway on the Penn State campus involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a state police helicopter family, police and k-9 units.

The Penn Stater blog reported that Joe Dado fell 15 feet to his death near a mechanical room outside Hosler building. He suffered severe head trauma. Joe Dado's body was found by repairmen responding to a service call at about 6 p.m.

While the precise cause of Dado's fall is not yet known, police suspect alcohol consumption to be a major factor.

Updates and can be tracked on Onward State, a student-run blog for Penn State University.

I just got an email from a friend of mine who attends Penn State and she said that her roommate had chemistry class with Joe Dado. The class had a chemistry exam yesterday at 6:30 p.m. and police apparently found the body around 6 p.m. but didn't announce it until 8 p.m.. The school did not inform the students that a freshman was missing until 11:12 a.m. yesterday when they updated their facebook page with the news.

I was directed to the Daily Collegian, the student newspaper, for the most up-to-date information.
