This is a tradition for every Independence Day, and even though it's only 10 mintues long, thousands of people flock to see people stuff as many hot dogs down their throat as possible - buns as well.

We might say that it is much easier to outrun Usain Bolt in the 100 meters or to climb K2, if we compare it risking our stomach or body. It is the toughest tradition we can among the other we celebrate on Fourth of July.

On the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues in Coney Island, N.Y., at the original Nathan’s hot dog stand, the 94th annual meeting of hot-dog eaters kicks off at 10:30 a.m.

ESPN had live coverage of the event, and many people said it was Joey Chestnut's year again, having won the last three in a row. Joey Chestnut wanted to eat 70 dogs in 10 minutes.
