John Bryson Hit-&-Run: What Happened with US Sec. of Commerce?
US Secretary of Commerce John Bryson in California Hit and Run Crashes
US Secretary of Commerce John Bryson was cited for two hit-and-run accidents in San Gabriel, California after a strange incident on June 9, 2012.
According to police, John Bryson rear-ended a Buick that was stopped at a railroad crossing. He got out of the car, spoke to the occupants of the vehicle, and got back into his Lexus. He then hit the Buick a second time.
Traveling further along San Gabriel Boulevard, John Bryson then allegedly hit a second vehicle. He was found unconscious behind the wheel, and was hospitalized.
The Department of Commerce's official stance is that John Bryson suffered a seizure. So, was this one long seizure that caused three separate vehicular impacts and a brief conversation? Or was it two (or three) separate seizures?
John Bryson was traveling alone in his personal vehicle: he was not traveling on government business. Bryson was apparently given seizure medication at the hospital, and has since returned to Washington, D.C.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating the crashes.
