NP Rank:
John Edwards's Love Child, Mistress To Move To His Neighborhood
Former Presidential candidate John Edwards brings his love child and mistress closer to his home in North Carolina, making sick wife furious.
Former Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards had an extramarital child with his former campaign aide Rielle Hunter in 2006, while his wife Elizabeth Edwards was battling breast cancer. In 2008, Edwards himself has admitted to having had an affair with Hunter, but said he was not the father of Hunter’s child. Edwards agreed to undergo a paternity DNA test, but Hunter would not concede. It is believed Edwards’s love child is a girl named Frances Hunter who was born in 2008. Edwards has four children with his legal wife.
The paper that broke the story about Edwards’s affair also broke the news today that Edwards wants his alleged love child to move to his neighborhood. The National Enquirer claims Hunter and her child will now move to Wilmington, North Carolina, where Edwards and his legal family reside.
The Enquirer claims that cancer survivor and long-suffering political wife Elizabeth Edwards exploded in rage when her husband told her his plans to move Hunter and her daughter close to their $2.6 million waterfront mansion.
"John's admitted to his family and close friends that he's the father of Frances. He says he wants to be a part of her life and help raise his daughter," a source tells the Enquirer. "Elizabeth was hit with an overwhelming one-two punch.
As The ENQUIRER exclusively reported, in the wake of the positive DNA test, attorneys for both Edwards and Hunter began hammering out an agreement for child support payments.

I am so glad Edwards never even had a sniffing chance for the Democratic presidential nomination last year.
It is sad for Elizabeth Edwards to be further hurt by her husband.

It is sad, but would be sadder if this little one grew up not knowing her father. It's not her fault.

Elizabeth Edwards enabled her husband's lying and cover-ups throughtout his presidential campaign. Although we feel sad for her today, we would feel only contempt and fury for her had John Edwards won the primaries and then his sexcapades been the basis of television commercials during the General Election, in which Edwards would have been uncovered as a lying hypocrital narcissistic subversive of Democratic Party electoral chances. Edwards would have had to bear that cross along with her husband, because she stood right next to him onstage as he lied to America with her complete knowledge of his lies.
Someone said above that "if he had been elected this would be a bigger story." But we all know the Republican character shredders would NEVER, EVER have passed on the chance to drown Edwards in his own semen. Sorry, but the story writes itself.
I feel vindicated my insistence, since 2006, that it was time to end the 43-term white male monopoly of the presidency and we should not nominate a white man simply on the basis of his skin color and his penis. Either Hillary or Obama would have been a better candidate, in spite of not being a white man, because the wick had already been lit on John Edwards' implosion. The fireworks would have started as soon as his nomination was assured. Certainly, the Republicans were HOPING Edwards would be nominated, because the had so much opposition research of his relationship with Reille and so much information was still there to drip drop until the most incredible margin of McCain election since Reagan and Carter.
Now, I think everyone who wanted a Democrat to win will have to agree with me, even though they did not like my framing of the issue and many thought it was evidence of not liking white men that made me frame the issue as I did: Counter to what John Edwards was telling the Democratic electorate, the most DANGEROUS thing we could have done in 2008 would have been to nominate Edwards in the belief that a white man would be more likely to win the General Election. The opposite was true, and now we know that we have to look beyond skin color and the penis to determine who will be the best candidate and president.
