John F. Kennedy Presidential Library: Ted Kennedy, Lie in Repose
The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library is where Ted Kennedy will lie in repose for two days, after his motorcade procession through the streets of Boston, and before being buried in Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday at the Roman Catholic Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Ted Kennedy will then be buried alongside his brothers, former President John F. Kennedy and former Senator Robert F. Kennedy at Arlington National Cemetery.
Ted Kennedy will lie in state for the remainder of Thursday August 27th and the for Friday August 28th, and people will be able to pay their last respects to the Senator.
The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library is the library and also museum of the late John F. Kennedy. It is located next to the the University of Massachusetts and holds all the papers of the Kennedy Administration as well as published and unpublished materials by authors like Ernest Hemingway.
It was dedicated in 1979 by President Jimmy Carter and surviving members of the Kennedy family.
