No doubt John McCain does NOT want Americans to know the details behind the spiraling higher costs of oil and then refined gasoline due to oil speculation.
John McCain has direct ties to the creation of the oil speculation loop hole and has strategically placed his Senate votes to mask his oil speculation ties and mislead the American public on it's history and his knowledge about it.

This story is a complete smear of Senator McCain, and cites a source that says nothing of substance. The source story is also a smear that presents no facts to justify the charge.

You can substantiate any credible evidence that Phil Gramm of UBS ... you and us is trustworthy and all. If you followed the linked they all went to credible sources. I don't trust McCain anymore than the IRS trustes Phil Gramm to not hide the wealthy cash off-shore so that they don't pay taxes. OMG - UBS has alrady admitted it unless you don't get out much and did NOT catch it.
Why should someone trust McCain when he uses his own party for personal gain. Why if I don't owe him a political favor believe he will be fair. His comments are pandering in desperation to anyone that will listen. I follow politics 24/7 and McCain contradicts himself within the same week, either because of senility or because he is gd liar ! I am patriotic as much as any natural U.S. citizen, but his flag waving and war mongering is getting nauseating.
His drill, drill, drill is so off-base for having any impact on our energy problem. Make cars have higher gas mileage and lower speed limit to 60 and we will have 20% more oil at our disposal due to conservation almost overnight.
It is the GOP mantra to consume and that mindless crap has now caught up with reality in their shell game and bit America in the a$$. It's more complicated than that - but I have not heard anything that was NOT selfish come out of a Republican's mouth ever.
