John Pilger, among some of us, has earned the reputation of one of very few top tier internatonal journalists. This portrait is sobering and should not lightly be ignored by that portion of our brain that would prefer not to attend to its implications. This is not to say that Obama consciously chooses the conundrums he presents. So far that issue has no clear answer.
