John Ziegler Cut Off From MSNBC Over Palin-Letterman Spat
Conservative talk show host John Ziegler appeared on an MSNBC talk show to discuss his recent radio interview with Alaska governor Sarah Palin, in particular her spat with TV talk show host David Letterman.
Ziegler recently talked to the former Vice-Presidential candidate, who was upset over Letterman's Sarah Palin Top 10 list about her. Ziegler and host Contessa Brewer had a testy exchange while discussing Palin's interview.
Ziegler referred to MSNBC as "Barack Obama's official network." He then criticized MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann for reportedly falsely accusing Palin of plagiarism. He went on to say that Palin responded to Letterman's jabs with more class than anyone at MSNBC ever could.
Ultimately, Brewer asked to have Ziegler's microphone cut off.
Ziegler is controversial host who produced a documentary entitled Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and runs a website howobamagotelected.com.
In 2005, Ziegler was the subject of a lengthy Atlantic Monthly article by late writer David Foster Wallace. Ziegler was offended by the piece and later criticized the acclaimed writer shortly after Wallace's much-publicized suicide last September.

This is why the right-wing talk show hosts now call the media, "the state-run" media.
The media are now rubber-stamping whatever the Obama administration says, and the turnabout can be seen well in the recent comments by a Newsweek editor that called Obama "a god" and "a great teacher", revealing the religious archetypes behind this worship of a secular leader who ought to be regarded with journalism's historical skepticism.
I will add, almost at my own peril around here, that the daughter of some strange people who named Ms Brewer "Contessa", is a woman who appears in the still to have her hands in the shape of a claw, while her mouth is clearly in a grimace.
Ziegler is smiling at his success in revealing the poison behind the mind-boggling pseudo-news network, MSNBC.
The army of independents grows daily, and we are the ones who will take back the country from the corporate-whores of Wall Street and the Statist Pimps of Washington. :)
This is not an endorsement of everything Ziegler has ever said, nor of the right-wing talk show hosts, either.

There are two sad things here. First, she gave the lying blowhard an audience. Second, she sank to the low, low depths of the disciple of hate Bill O'Reilly.

Wow, What a rude B...
I watched this interview and it is obvious to me that if the person being interviewed doesnt answer the questions the way she ( Ms Brewer) wants you will be the bad guy. Perhaps she should have given him a list of answers that were appropriate for her prior to the interview.
If these comments were said of Hillary Clinton, Michelle O'bama or any other female democrat she would be up in arms.
The comments were not right for any women,, were are you now femanists???

Are you kidding? The guy was combative from the time she welcomed him. This is apparently why the guy was fired from KFI. This is how he acted on air with his colleagues. Believe me, there is plenty of criticism of Obama on MSNBC. Far more criticism of Obama on MSNBC than there has ever been of Bush on Faux News.

Wow, what typical hypocrisy by the left? Vile hatred from any talk-show host about a woman and her under-aged girl and you get a pass if the target is a Republican or someone not in-sync with the "Party."
You can bet that if the same were said about Hillary or Michelle, the individual would be "done". Thanks for the double standard.

Brewer even said, "your insulting me." He wasn't insulting her; he was insulting the network. The fact that she couldn't stand up for herself goes to show what kind of unintelligent, ignorant reporters are hired only for their looks. Our country is turning into someone else's country. We need to fight to get it back - stand up for what's right.
If this had been said about Michelle, Hillary, etc, the talk show host would have been "layed off," like other's already have been.

To be fair he still was too sarcastic to begin with commenting about the network. I think he
could have had a little more class himself here and made his points. His personality was
not to my liking . Thos the MSNBC I know is a Obama groupie.

No one's bothered to point out something important: the "interview" was over when Ziegler continued to try to talk over her as she was segueing to the next broadcast segment. In exasperation, she said "cut the mike" so she could actually be heard.
MSNBC is primarily liberal, but that doesn't mean you mean you accept an interview with them and proceed to insult the host and crowd as many soundbites into the segment that you can. It's clear that he was getting material for his own show rather than honestly answering her questions. If Howard Stern or someone did that on Fox, most of their conservative audience would be talking about how rude and immature Stern is (which he is, lol).
How about the Golden Rule for everyone appearing in the media: Treat others how you'd like to be treated. That's above politics.
