Russell Brand & Jonathan Ross - Prank Call - Radio 2

Jonathan Ross & Russel Brand have been suspended by the BBC. Following 18,000 complaints concerning a prank phone call to Andrew Sachs, on Russell Brand's Radio 2 program on Saturday 18 October 2008. The call has been considered obsceine & offensive, it  is now under investigation by the BBC & Ofcom. They may have put the BBC into disrepute. Jonathon Ross was scheduled to show his program on Friday night on the BBC. Mr Ross is one of the largest fee earners at the BBC reported to have a contract worth £18. Million.

I always thought Ross was OK, but Brand is a complete idiot, neither of them can match the excellence of Andrew Sachs.

Fairplay1, I'm shocked they were actually suspended - they are really high profile comedians in the UK

Sorry, but I'm just sorry that they were not just Sacked as a matter of course.  I think it is really, really, sad that we, the British Public can call these two people 'entertainers' when they can behave in this manner.   Maybe our 'youth' who seem to think that behavior of this sort is acceptable and 'the norm' should just wait until they get to the same age as Andrew Sachs and then see what they  think when someone calls them and makes the same disgusting calls......
