Joran Van Der Sloot is Said To Be Shopping His Options For a 'Tell-All' Interview From Prison

The prisoner who has been charged in the death of 21-year-old Stephany Flores has already bragged about getting marriage proposals and love letters from admiring female fans, but he has apparently refused to do any TV interviews unless he gets paid at least $1 million.

Several TV sources told Rob Shuter with PopEater.com that he is so happy with all the media attention that he has realized he can get some serious money for an on-camera interview.

"It's amazing how this kid's mind works," one senior producer tells me. "He is on trial for murder and he is thinking about how he can make money selling interviews."

Is $1 million took expensive for this kind of interview though? Many in the business unfortunately think he could command that and more.

"It's a horrid thing to admit, but he could be right," one TV exec tells me. "An interview with him from behind bars would certainly get huge ratings. And when you think how much money the cast of 'Friends' got per half-hour episode, $1 million for van der Sloot could be considered a bargain."

Although Peruvian police state that they have a signed confession from Van Der Sloot, his lawyer now wants that removed from the case as he says it was obtained under pressure and his client was not properly represented at the time.

Van Der Sloot is being held in Miguel Castro Castro maximum security prison and is awaiting his murder trial.

It would be worth it for the Dutch government to pay him off to end this deal. Of course, her won't tell the truth because he is pathalogical a nut case.

He can eat sh*t and die in prison. Any media who contributes to this should be censured harshly.  Joran Va der Sloot is a cold blooded killer and if Peru has any type of law like the US they won't allow a felon to profit from his crimes.  Shame on everyone around.

Its not just his mind, its how everyone's mind works. The media circus is just expected. The best punishment we can give is to not care about hearing the story. The public's demand for information creates the value.
