This is a travesty. No child should be told to lie, that is a clue in itself that this father is off balance exposing his daughter to basiclly fraud and endangerment of wildlife. I don't understand how a court would make a child if she feels uncomfortable living with a parent make her live where she is unahappy and it sounds like she has many reasons, this story alone. I am also sure that she fels safer, theri is nothing worst then an acholic or having to live and be exposed to that kind of behavior. This poor little gitl must also have guilt for knowing her Mother is in jail because of her refusal, but it is probably so bad in her mind living with her father that she is willing to sacrifice that for her own sanity. I know I have a daughter that did the smae thing I would go to jail for her if it meant her mental statae. I have been in a contempt battle that has been going on for almost three years, My daughters story is unreal as is mine, it makes no sense when my daughter has been pleading and begging not to live with her father why wouldnt a father who loves his daughter just listen and figure out a better schedule to make her hapy, that is true love. But money, power and control get in the way, and then you have a young little girl in a unhealty situation for years to come and then she is suppose to be normal when it is all over and she can decide. No she wil be scarred for life. My heart gose out to this little girl and her Mother and step step-father.
