This video is only the tip of the iceberg through the history of mankinds abuse of their own child. I've heard of and seen a lot worse than this video..Also tens of thousands of kids supposedly disappear every year in the US alone..Ever wonder what actually happened to them ?

Statistics show 5 children die a day from abuse. I believe that number is actually too low..

A wack or two is good enough for most kids, but I think the girl is to old to do that to. As for the judge? He needs his a$$ beat. If he happens to get prosecuted, he won't be on our page at  America's Wrongfully Convicted.com

Not agreeing with the mans behavior but, the question of using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time; and the statement, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views; -needs discussion before we adopt the moral outrage. Is theft forward thinking? Not wanting your child to be a thief and a liar a backward view?  In all fairness if we are going to hang the father, the daughter must hold a place beside him for her transgressions.

Survivors of abuse are all around you.  Abusive parents are sitting next to you at the football game.  Your neighbor who seems "so friendly" may be a real-life monster behind closed doors.  Most people turn away and would rather not face the fact that "normal friends" they would NEVER suspect do in fact abuse their own kids regularly and habitually without remorse.  People with a heart are shocked and want to deny such ugliness is happening to at least one child in every class their own child is in.  What hope then does that abused child have? No childish infraction is corrected by a prolonged beating because the parent is "so fg upset right now."  Rather, many abusers were once abused themselves; it is a repeating cycle.  Discipline, of course; undisciplined, out of control beating, never!Think about it--if you knew for certain a child near you was being beaten or abused in any way, what would you DO?

What horrible parents!  I cannot imagine.  I  am so sorry, Hilary.  You sure did a great thing by exposing them.  There is absolutley no excuse for their actions.   They are horrible parents.  They belong in prison.   It was obvious the mother was not manipulated.  She participated of her own volition.  I wish you all the best Hilary; you deserve it!

This is as disgusting and as brutal as I have ever seen. And THIS IS A JUDGE? WOW, what a piece of human feces. Not only BEATING nercilessly his own child, but the profanity he used and the screaming...and the child being disabled at that. You could tell in teh video that the wife was also afraid of him. This bastard needs to spend some time in prison being someone's bitch. I would LOVE to meet this "IT" in person. I cannot even bring myself to pray for his soul...he's too far gone for me.

Yes he was way wrong. Discipline should never be done out of anger. I am not making any excuses for his behavior. I was disciplined WAY worse than that as a child. Imagine that whopping she received in a shower naked with a belt, thats what i got. I know you all want to hang this guy out to dry but it happened 7 YEARS AGO. He apologized to her. Maybe this incident woke him up to his wrong. We don't know. We do not know all the facts only what you see in this video. Is there any evidence that his behavior continued after this incident? Did she post the video because she was angry with him about something else and she did it out of spite? Why did she wait so long to post it? people have been posting videos on you tube for a long time. He who hath NO sin cast the first stone.

The guy is a dirt-bag and a coward. I'd like to see him with his belt stand up to a grown man, or even a 16 year old boy. He deserves everything he gets.

The father should have sentenced her to a term in prison for internet theft. He'd still be the bad guy to some but maybe the poor girl would learn right from wrong under the masterful hands of a lifer.  

After watching this I now feel sick to my stomach.  Just sickening.

A long prison term is the only respectable outcome for these two evil abusive scum bags they should never be left alone with children ever again.I hope this girl can move past this and have a normal peaceful life.

I myself was whipped by my father at the age of 16. the difference is my father was an alcoholic and he used the buckle end of the belt to hit me from the top of my shoulders to the back of my knees leaving brusing all over. I don't drink because of this and I do not hurt my kids. I won't ever forget what happened to me..

He clearly has problems, and this transmits itself to his family. You can see his rage at her inability to totally obey because of her fear.I was spanked as a child, and with the belt sometimes too, but this guy is way to angry to be executing disciplinary punishment. I say throw the book at him, and hopefully his cellmate can teach him something about total obedience in the face of fear.

Yeah the wife looked so upset over the beating of her daughter that she decided to grab a belt and join in the beating and yelling. What the hell do they mean she shouldn't be blamed? bullsh! She made her choice and instead of admitting that she is a horrible mother she plays the poor pitiful me act! Pathetic. Hang her along with her husband.
