Here's the deal: Julian Assange leaked sensational information about the dastardly inner workings of government and possibly fomenting a revolution in the Middle East. Someone else leaked video of Julian Assange dancing like a goofball. Fair trade, right?

A Julian Assange dance video has hit the web, and while it's hardly earth-shattering, it does show that Assange's human side.

The Julian Assange dance video was reportedly in Iceland back in 2009. DJ Seth Sharp shot the Julian Assange video without knowing that the white-haired man busting a smooth-ass move by himself was the Wikileaks founder. He just got a kick out of his dancing.

He asked Assange’s permission, though, to take the photos of him dancing. “[Assange] hesitated at first and I told him that I would not put them on Facebook,” says Sharp, who kindly blurred out the face of a woman who gets up in Assange’s dance space near the end

Iceland has a population of only around 320,000, which explains why the club seems relatively empty.

That could be a selling point for Iceland tourism: skip the queues and party with controversial media figures.

I don't know wether this is Julian Assange, it is afterall april fools day today...But these movements look so genuine! This guy really isn't keeping up appearances...

I think you'll find it was a bit early for the Icelandic clubs to have filled up yet - you know, around midnight... They're all still at home getting ready to go out... :P (ha, and people will think I'm joking)
