Police Report Julie Schenecker Left Murder Note: Julie Schenecker Facebook Profile: A Typical Mom And Proud Wife Of Military Man Parker Schenecker

A study of contrasts that is the picture that is starting to emerge of accused murderer Julie Schenecker.

Julie Parker Schenecker as she goes by on her Facebook Profile is the 50 year old mother accused of killing her two teenage children for being "mouthy."

Tampa police arrested Julie Schenecker Friday on two counts of first-degree murder.

A Tampa police spokesperson told media that Julie Schenecker claims she killed her 13-year-old son Powers Schenecker and 16-year-old daughter Calyx Schenecker because "they were mouthy."

Tampa Police claim they received a call from the concerned mother of Julie Schenecker. Officers arrived on the scene to find Schenecker covered in blood.

Julie Schenecker's husband Parker Schenecker was stationed with the military in Qatar at the time of killings and has returned home to Florida. Parker Schenecker was not in court when his wife Julie made her court appearance where she was denied bail.

A police spokesperson is asserting that Julie Schenecker left a note saying she was planning on killing her children.

Public Information Officer Laura McElroy, appearing on the MSNBC cable news network, said Schenecker left a note written several days before the shootings. "She was planning to take the lives of her children and then her own life," McElroy said.

Reports are now surfacing that Julie Schenecker was investigated for child abuse for slapping her daughter and she was not charged with anything after an investigation by Florida child welfare officials.

Plus, ABC News is quoting an anonymous source that Parker Schenecker and his children attended a counseling session for Julie's alleged addiction issues.

Colonel Schenecker accompanied Beau and Calyx to the meeting of about 20 people, the woman said..

"He was just like any normal dad. He was there to help his kids," the woman said. "It was mentioned by the dad that they were there for the mother [Schenecker]...he said that she did have a drug and alcohol problem and they were here to cope with it."

Beau, 13, didn't speak at the meeting but 16-year-old Calyx did.

"Calyx started to speak and she started to say, 'my mom.' She said, 'my mom' maybe about twice. She couldn't say any more, she started bawling," the woman said.

The woman said she didn't see the family at another Al-Anon meeting.

Meanwhile, the public face of Julie Schenecker was that of a happy, everyday woman, a wife and mom.

The Facebook posts by Julie Schenecker reflect a fairly straightforward middle class existence, including cheering for Lee Dewyze on American Idol and promoting a local real estate commercial her husband, Parker was involved in.

  1. was cheering for lee dewyze the whole season, but thinks crystal bowersox was actually the better singer. she probably should have won. congrats go out to lee and glad to see him end his career in paint mixing!!
  2. here's parker on a tv commercial talking about looking for a house in tampa. our realtor is now my best friend here! love ya lisa!!
  3. Is back from the munich military reunion. a great time was had by all-especially aaron and his jagermeisters!! ...can't wait for the next one!

The video Julie Schenecker is referring to is a video Col. Parker Schenecker, 48, appeared  discussing what it was like for military families buying real estate.

Last year, Col. Schenecker appeared in a company video for Casa Fina Realty, saying he was pleased with how they didn't treat his military family like a number when they were looking for a new home.
