July 4th Demonstration at Colorado's State Capitol (Part 2)

Fourth of July!  What a great time to express our love - and our concerns - for our country! Never before have American values been so under assault by our own government!  America was founded on the principles of freedom and opportunity for the individual.  The Tea Party movement is about furthering the freedom of every person in this country to build the best life possible - without the crushing hand of out-of-control taxes or invasive government regulations.  When politicians spend BILLIONS of dollars of our money (do you even know how much a billion IS?) without even reading what they are voting for as they did with the "stimulus"  and the cap and tax - oops I mean cap and trade - bills, taxation and regulation are out of control.  What if a surgeon operated on a patient without reading his chart? What if a lawyer went to court without reading the legal breifs? What if an electrician started re-wiring your house without finding out what your problem is?  Are our elected representatives any less irresponsible and negligent?? We pay them to do their jobs, but the job they do is to lick the boots of the power structure currently in Washington.  Washington & State Governments, Pay attention to these Tea Parties... the people voted you in, and they WILL vote you out! Oh wait, that is, until they decide that all these changes are "too big to fail" and find a way to postpone or eliminate our right to vote.
