Justice John Roberts Betrays America Over Affordable Healthcare
Of all of the decisions handed down by the Supreme Court over more than 3 years of the Obama administration, upholding the Affordable Healthcare Act may be one of the most treasonous acts ever decided upon by the highest court in the land. Though Justices Alito, Scalia, and Thomas dissented against the decision to allow this act to survive it was not to be struck down. Justice John Roberts, a Bush appointee, decided in favor of nationalized healthcare through allowing individual mandate to stand.
A Flawed Argument
Deciding to allow the healthcare act to stand as a tax was rationalized by Justice John Roberts, who has consistently ruled in favor of the left ever since his appointment. One might remember that he refused to consider the Constitutional eligibility of President Obama in light of evidence and large numbers of solicitors in favor of forcing Obama to meet those requirements. John Roberts handed down his decision with a sarcastic comment that belittled the legal Constitutional argument.
Radical Leftist Judges Decide For We The People
Of course one would have expected Justice Kennedy to approve such a draconian decision that will place more control of our personal choices in the hands of the federal government being that he is a longtime liberal. Yet, even Justice Kennedy wanted the Affordable Healthcare Act struck down. It would also have been anticipated that Justices Sotomayor and Kegan in step with their Obama administration appointments, would automatically go along with the decision approving the individual mandate. It should be noted that both justices have a history of inappropriately using the law to legislate political policy from the bench. Sotomayor allowed discrimination in a prior ruling during her position in a lower court sanctioning the hiring of less qualified minority applicants for employment as firefighters over their higher scoring Caucasian counterparts.
Elana Kegan has the dubious distinction of forcing an armed services recruiting center off the campus grounds of her college because they did not support gay recognition within the ranks of the military. Kagan also served to block several legal challenges to President Obama’s Constitutional standing in the oval office as Inspector General. She was appointed having barely if any experience ruling from the bench in actual court room hearings making her little more than a glorified court clerk.
Unmanageable Cost Overruns
With the Supreme Court decision to uphold the Affordable Health Care Act, a disastrous measure has been unleashed among the public. Projected budgets have put the act costing more than 1.76 trillion dollars in less than 10 years, much more than estimated by the Obama administration. Being judged as cost prohibitive didin't stop President Obama, who strikes again in making the eventual balanced budget amendment virtually unattainable. His legislation is to insure that he will receive votes from those elements that want to be wards of the state even if it means insuring illegal aliens with health care paid by the rest of the US population who find themselves involved in subsidizing those who do not pay taxes or contribute to our society in a responsible manner.
What Reasoning Could Exist Behind This Madness?
What could possibly be the motive of a president pushing a healthcare bill that 62% of the public disapproved of, was proven to be much more costly than was originally proposed, and will inevitably ration costs allowing the chronically ill, senior citizens, and those with especially expensive rare conditions to be denied coverage after exceeding imposed limits, the “Death Panels” that Sarah Palin warned about? Why would a president approve of such a controversial program? The answer. To buy votes by benefiting those who will not and cannot afford healthcare whether they are legal citizens or not, these voters will be indefinitely endeared to the Democrat party for benefits they receive at the expense of tax paying Americans as costs continue to sky rocket through the roof.
What Happens To The Republic Now?
The passage of the Affordable Healthcare Act effectively ends the existence of a Constitutional Republic in the United States with the enactment of the Affordable Healthcare Act. Every nation who has formed their own socialized medicine program has seen financial failure, long waiting lines of six months or more, lack of critical emergency room facilities for trauma patients, and a rationing of care to the elderly and chronically ill. The government now becomes God and decides who lives and who dies. As President Obama had once said when asked what would happen to those who needed care for terminal conditions, he remarked, that this was what pain medication was for.

This is the most biased story I've ever read on NowPublic.

Biased? You mean like biased like people who believe that the government should regulate every aspect of our lives, force us to participate in programs we don't want or need. Being from California it makes the sense that you would consider a story about how the US Supreme Court betrayed Americans failing to honor the US Constitution and independent heritage of our tradition as being self sufficient and minimizing unnecessary government influence in the lives of citizens. Government never will create the illusion of utopia that you leftists in California think somehow exists. What a great example of just how socialism and radical politics California is. The government is in a huge deficit, no businesses will start up there because of the insane EPA regulations and hostile attitude of state government to small business. When Californians support illegal aliens bankrupting hospitals and clinics for medical care that's just great, why don't you open your purse or your bank account since you think we should allow non-citizens state funded services, food stamps, social security benefits. Guess what? There's a cost for all that California, and your Governor is a Communist! And you elected that idiot! I don't feel sorry for you!

Re: death panels, as they exist in the real world:

Too bad Republicans and conservatives like Sarah Palin poisoned the dialog about enacting policy meant to attempt to provide funds for physicians for the time they spent giving information and aiding their patients by providing them with knowledge, not Right Wing fairy tale/boogeyman stories, to allow their patients to make informed decisions.

Death Panel is just one of a number of terms that describe medical treatment rationing at the expense of the patients medical outcome which would result in death. Sarah Palin was spot on in her assessment and making light of the fact that the nationalized healthcare issue will in essence be about who is allowed to live and at what point of their life. Obama was quick to point out that he and the government already has their health plans and this had nothing to do with them. Yeah, I wonder if Obama would like to see one of his daughters on rationed health care if they had terminal treatment or an exotic disease that required expensive prolonged treatment?
The message is that to our elderly who have contributed to society all their lives will suffer so that others who do not pay at all like illegal aliens and wards of the state, can be covered through a confiscatory means that has failed already in very nation that has adopted it! This is political pure and simple to buy liberal votes for the Democrats and keep them in power while trying to secure another term for Obama at the expense of the nation. The Death Panels-quorums of cost regulators will be quite busy deciding who lives and who dies.
