Karachi Baluch under attack of MQM terrorists
Karachi, the commercial capital of Pakistan, has once again been plunged into an ethnic war between the dominant mohajir ethnic group and the Baluch, who have lived there for three centuries now.
Dozens of people have been killed in Pakistan's largest city including four found Sunday — three of them headless — in a wave of targeted attacks among rival political groups that some say is aimed at destabilizing the country's ruling coalition.
Political violence is common in Karachi, but the shootings and decapitations since Jan. 1 have terrorized parts of this teeming southern metropolis, prompting the government to send in paramilitary forces to restore order.
The city of nearly 18 million has been in the grip of ethnic tensions since the formation of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement, now called Muttahida Qaumi Movement, during the martial law regime of General Ziaul Haq.
The military general was anxious to curb the political vote-bank of the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Inter Services Intelligence then propped up a mohajir nincompoop with no roots in Karachi who belonged to the lower middle class -- the class that in history has been responsible for engendering fascism.
The young man was Altaf Hussan, now 56.
With I.S.I. support and direct patronage of Zia, Altaf Hussain overnight became a hero of the mohajir community. Over the years M.Q.M. has targeted almost all other ethnic communities : Pashtuns, Sindhis, Baluch.
One mohajir businessman recalls a meeting of top industrialists and businessmen in 1986 in the Hill Park area in P.E.C.H.S. organized by the dictator that was attended by Altaf Hussain. General Ziaul Haq called the host at the meeting and requested the businessmen present there to donate generously to Hussain.
More than one million dollars were amassed at the single event.
Businessmen who refused to pay extortion monies to Altaf Hussain were allegedly killed on his orders, according to Pakistan reports. One victim was former governor of Sindh, Hakim Mohammed Saeed.
Altaf Hussain is known for allegedly physically eliminating those in his party who differ with him.
On May 1, 1993 Azeem Ahmed Tariq was assassinated, just a few days after he addressed a press conference where he made statements against Altaf. But it is still a mystery who was actually behind his killing. The three suspects who were arrested for the murder, were also killed after they were released on bail.
The slain leader Azeem Ahmed Tariq's family fled the country for their own safety. They are living in Houston, Texas, in the United States. Ii is interesting to note that the victim's two sons Umair and Uzair have not forgotten the persons who were involved in the killing of their father and soon Altaf Hussain will have to answer very embarrassing questions and possibly murder litigation.
There are web reports that Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal played a role in the slaying of Tariq and a picture of Altaf Hussain kissing him, while both have their eyes closed, has led to eyebrow raising and all kinds of speculations about the MQM chief's private life..
Over the last quarter century, M.Q.M. showed its terrorist color in many conflicts with almost all ethnic groups.
After prospering under Zia, the ethnic terrorist group flourished for another decade after General Pervez Musharraf became the army chief.
On May 12, 2007 when Pakistan's Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry arrived in Karachi during the struggle to restore the judges of the supreme court, at the behest of General Musharrraf, thugs of the M.Q.M. went on a killing orgy in Karachi that claimed dozens of innocent lives. The incidents on that day is well documented.
“All the evidence shows that these parties, particularly the MQM, acted like organised military forces, which mobilised large numbers of people to carry out acts of brutal violence against their opponents as well as non-partisan citizens. For this the level of responsibility needs to be more specific and direct than the one implied in the notion of collective political responsibility.”
“The MQM, or at least its military organisation, bears the direct and specific responsibility for the majority of the violence. Residual responsibility lies with the armed supporters of other political and religious parties,” the HRCP report says.
Many years ago, Altaf Hussain was imprisoned at the Karachi Central Jail where a Baluch student leader the late Deen Mohamed Boro was also present in the same cell. According to a Sindhi journalist who was in prison at the same time, Boro allegedly blackened Hussain's face one night.
Later, Hussain married and divorced a girl whose maternal grandmother was a daughter of a former mayor of Karachi, Khan Bahadur Allah Baksh Gabol, and a distant relative of this scribe. According to the ex-wife Faiza Malik Gabol, Altaf Hussain was extremely abusive and used to torture her.
Through her law firm, Khan Solicitors, Faiza Gabol has filed a divorce suit citing that she wanted separation from her husband due to Altaf Hussain's attitude that had been insulting and callous. She also alleged that after marriage she was virtually made a prisoner.
The main reason Altaf Hussain married Gabol was that he needed a British passport.
During the divorce procedings, Altaf Hussain tried to punish his father-in-law illegally.
Faiza Gabol has filed a suit in a London court seeking divorce from the MQM chief. Faisal Gabol, who also once acted as adviser to the Sindh government, has alleged that due to the ongoing court case in London he was being threatened by MQM leaders and activists of dire consequences.
He was removed as the Sindh government adviser and put behind bars on fake charges, it was alleged.
The Baluch are warning Hussain that if his terrorist organization does not stop its brutal, anti-human activities, he will be fully exposed before the British government and take back his British passport. They said they will ask Faiza Gabol to help them in this regard.

Good start Ahmar. I must say that I miss Ahmar Mustikhan of the 90s who avoided cliches and anecdotal evidence like "informed sources" and "informal chat" etc., in his reports. There is enough hardcore material in your story to implicate the MQM supremo. You do not have to resort to the unconfirmed anecdote of a nameless Sindhi journalist, about whose claim I have serious doubts. On the contrary, I used to visit Boro Mama and Jano frequently during the 80s in J-4 hostel where my cousins also lived. On a couple of occasions Altaf Hussain and his erstwhile friend (and later adversary) Dr Salim Haider of Hyderabad were roughed up by Islami Jamiat e Talaba and it was Late Shirin Khan and late Boro who saved them and provided them with first aid. I also am a close observer of the days when Boro Mama was in the death cell of the jail and it is improbable that a) he met Altaf there and b) would blacken his face because Altaf was nobody then and Boro would not have bothered at all. Are you also aware of the (again) "informed sources" claiming that some Baloch nationalists and Altaf have made a pact in London and as a result, Mohajirs are not being target killed in Balochistan and the spree is aimed solely at ethnic Punjabis and sometimes people from NWFP? The eerie silence of the nationalist leadership in exile on the present strife in Karachi is rather intriguing.

The Person who was a roughed up by Den M Boro Rind Baloch in Karachi Jail was not Altaf Hussain but a Jamiat Islami Thuder Squad leader from Karachi university, used to terrorise other non Islami student and killed Punjabi student Named Shaukat Niazi in Karachi and NED university student uion elections back 1983-84. Altaf Hussain was nothing at that time he was just a member of APMSO at karachi unversity he is ISI and Pakistani Army made hero of Mohajirs whom later allowed to terrorise other urdu sepeaking people to forcefully join his MQM and collect funds from poor street vendors and memon bussiness men throughout Karachi except Baloch areas of Karachi, MQM is nothing but a Urban educated terrorist orgniazation which is kept alive to breakup of Pakistan eventully, but these Urban educated terrorist making big misktake to take on fight with Baloch beacuse fighting and killing Baloch of Karachi today cost them in long term if they really wants to live in karachi.

Our prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was from the noble tribe of Makkah and all the prophets were from noble tribe. It never happened that a famous and most pious and most incredible person came in bad reputation people or from any bad reputation family.Bad reputation means among those who did immoral activity in their daily life.Caste and creed does not mean any profession but it shows rather reflects the character of a person. If you take the example of our present minister of Interior Rehman Malik he is from Barber family (NAI) i am not Joking but let me tell you being in the nai family does not mean that he is from some filthy back ground or low cast but the things he does i mean the corruption he does shows the back ground of his family.Like take the example of So called Quaid E Tehreek Mr Altaf Hussain he is also from a low cast where adultery and any type of corruption is of no value, no culture no cast no creed do whatever you like and live your life the way you like nothing stops you from doing immoral and unethical things. In the beginning Altaf Hussain used to do wall chalking by himself even in Hyderabad where he used to live with Jawaid Kardar,Iqbal Ladla,Shakil Ahmed (Shakil is now working and living in Jouhar and running a cell phone shop at Jouhar chowrangi) and used to have fun with the nurses of Hyedrabad.Jawaid Kardar is the that person who painted most of the walls in Hyderabad and murdered the civil Judge of Hyderabad session court.Do you know the name of his Father i mean Altaf’s Father Name?Do you know where his Altaf’s Father is buried?Do you know where his mother and father used to live?Do you know Altaf’s cast or creed? Is there any park or place on his Altaf’s father name? Why Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall on his mothers name and nothing on his fathers name? What is the reason of never talking about father? Is it the matter of shame to talk about father? Why does Altaf feel shame on showing his fathers name?Is he ALTAF the legitimate child? Was her mother divorced? What was the relation of his father with Khanaywall? Is he Altaf is son of a person from Khanewall? Now take the example of MR Mustafa Kamal the nephew of Late Mr Tariq Azeem the founder member of MQM.It has been called by many founder member of MQM that Azeem ahmed Tariq was killed by the instruction of Altaf Husain and Saleem Shahzad was the one who executed the orders through 4 people and Mustafa Kamal was on top of the list who assisted Saleem Shahzad in killing his own uncle.Even it is said that Mustufa Kamal did open the door to Kill his Uncle Azeem Ahmed Tariq. At that time Mustafa Kamal was performing his duties at nine zero and the orders of killing of Azeem Ahmed Tariq was givine by Altaf Hussain in the Presence of Mr Imran Farooq, Saleem Shahzad and Altafs Main body Guard Khalid.
