The Karen Sypher Tapes were released today in the Rick Pitino abortion case, where she accused the Louisville University head basketball coash of raping her in 2003. The tapes were released today, even though Pitino has not been charged, but he called an immediate news conference to address the matter:

“If you all showed up thinking I am resigning you are going to be disappointed.  On the day Ted Kennedy died we broke into news here in Louisville with Karen Sypher tapes….Believe me I will suffer for that mistake. My wife and children should not suffer for these lies, and believe me these are lies.”

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Karen Sypher met Rick Pitino at her husband Tim Sypher's condo, where she received $3,000 from him, but she claims she got the money for an abortion, but Pitino's lawyer said it was for health insurance.
