Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison conceded to Governor Rick Perry

Kay Bailey Hutchison conceded to Governor Rick Perry on Tuesday night in the Texas governor primary just after 9pm.

Kay Bailey Hutchison told supporters in Dallas to support Rick Perry:

"Now we must unite," she said. "We must win Texas for Republicans."

This has been a yearlong battle between Hutchison and Perry, but Perry has been the longest serving governor in Texas history and he wants a full third term in Austin. He will be going up against Democrat Bill White.
