Kayleah Wilson Still Missing After Almost One Week

Kayleah Wilson, 12, left on Sunday March 28th for a friend's birthday party in Greeley Colorado and she has not been seen since. Police do not believe that Kayleah ran away and there is nothing to indicate that she left home intentionally. The birthday party ended around 7pm that day and when she did not come home, April Wilson, her mother, began to worry. Kayleah never arrived at the party.

Police are continuing the search on April 3rd around Kayleah's home in Greeley and they are on foot and horseback in the hopes that they may find some clues.

Greeley Police Sgt. Joe Tymkowych says authorities have gone to Kayleah's favorite hangouts, searched along the highway, interviewed friends, family, and acquaintances, and have contacted registered sexual offenders who live nearby.

No one has heard from Kayleah and her mother is concerned that her daughter may be in danger.

Kayleah Wilson is 5 feet 1 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair and she was last seen wearing a white and pink shirt with a white tank top underneath, blue jeans and red and white shoes.

Her mother said:

"She walked over to the couch and said, 'I love you,' and 'I'll be home by 7,' and she walked out the door and that was it," said Wilson. "She had been talking about the party. She was really looking forward to it."

If you have any information about Kayleah Wilson, call the Greeley Police Department at 970-350-9600.
