Ken Green's Blog Post Reveals News About Hunter Green's Death
Ken Green took his blog today to discuss the news about his son Hunter Green being found dead in his SMU (Southern Methodist University) dorm room late last week.
Ken Green, a former professional golfer who had to have his leg amputated last summer after a vehicle accident that killed his brother and girlfriend, revealed his sadness on his blog and his dismay at the fact that Hunter's mother did not tell him about his son's passing.
Well, today is another sad day. I’m sorry to say that my youngest son Hunter has passed. His journey in life has ended and i can’t tell you how difficult understanding this is.
Jeanne and Billy will meet him and they will watch over all. I’m also baffled at the fact that his Mother elected not to tell me about his passing. I can only hope the anger his family as will end and they can continue their journey in life without such anger.
Hunter Green's body was found around 12:30pm on Friday and an investigation is underway but no foul play is expected.
Ken admits that he and Hunter had a 'stranded relationship' but he thanked everyone for their love and support in this difficult time.
Ken Green won five PGA Tours between 1985 and 1989 and played on the 1989 Ryder Cup team.

Dear Mr. Green; I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your son. Sometimes we do not question why things happen although we do not understand. I pray that God will surround you with his arms and help heal the hurt you are going thru. Take care of yourself and be strong. Sincerely BB Scott Greenville SC

Ken: I was a fan when you were on tour. I remember tthree things about you. 1. You were a great golfer (and will be again), 2. Your green shoes and 3. You wanted the tour to abolish "silence". I deeply regret the passing of your son and share your pain. RegardsFernando

To you and your family, I forward my deepest sympathy for the passing of your son. I know the heartache you have as I have experienced the same heartache when I lost my 16 year-old-son in a car accident. And I don't have the answers as to why Bad Things Happen to Good People, but I can assure you that God's love can heal your broken heart if you turn to him. It is my prayer that at this sad time in your lives that you will feel God's presence. And may your Spirit be renewed each day with God's Grace to live victoriously so that you may be with Hunter again one day FOREVER.....

Bad things happen in life as the whole cosmic system is governed by inscrutable laws of Karma... as we sow so shall we reap... nothing less or more! If they were only happiness in life... all would become monotonous... meaningless! Only when we suffer... we understood true value of happiness... never otherwise!

Dear Mr .Green:. I recently had the opportunity to watch Real Sports On HBO and your segment that contained your story.I was very deeply moved by your story as it parallels in real life to the journey that my family and I are undertaking. My father became an amputee two years ago,was a very active person who loved the game of golf. At the time of the injury he had lost all hope of ever playing the game again. Your story has given him hope that one day he will be able to play again.I would love to get him a copy of the episode that featured your story.Would you be able to direct me as to how to purchase this?. I wish you all the best as you continue your journey back to the PGA Tour. With your perseverence, determination and love for the sport,I'm certain you will back soon. Thank you for sharing your story as it has given our family hope and encouragement Jeff Ferraro
