"If it had not been (Major) Sandeep's house, not even a dog would have glanced that way," said Achuthanandan, a day after being chased away by the father of the officer.

This was how Kerala chief minister V S Achuthanandan responded on Monday to the family of NSG Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan slain in the Mumbai terror attack during commando operations,

Question from media: How do you respond to the remarks by slain major. Sandeep Unnikrishnan's father ("Get out my house, you dogs")?

And, the CM responded: "We all love Sandeep Unnikrishnan and that is the reason why we went to his house to meet his family. If it had not been Sundeeps house, no dog would have gone there"

This was the exact response from the Kerala CM and the media, "TimesNOW" had taken out the quote out of context and sensationalized it. It is high time we should keep a control on such immoral journalists. And, where in this quote CM mentions/insults our Major or his family? even if it were taken out of context? Are we so poorly educated to understand this musch simple and plain English?

that was wrong on part of the TimesNOW journalist to have placed the CM's reply out of context only for creating a sensational piece of news. we have to be more rational at that.

This is how we are treating the heros, who laid their lives to make us live on this mother land. Do we deserve such sacrifices . Shame on us. it is we, who elected such people to be our rulers. We are responsible for CM's comments. Can we be called civilized people? we just talk about our pride all the time, and don't look at the real shortfalls, compared with the developing and developed world.  Calling CM names doesn't solve or improve our situation. Recollect  how Firefighters were treated when 9/11 happened in US. Development is not only financial issue, its about culture, responsibility and about our thought processes......... When we elect capable, responsible, ethical and moral people, we will not face such embarrassments...... Wake up, vote for the right person.

I have been grappling for words to express my anger at this comment in no uncertain terms. This man is a national disgrace. He definitely doesnt deserve to be called a dog, as a dog is the most loyal animal that human beings know, and so I dont want to degrade a dog by calling Acchut that. That might be a mark of respect for this imbecile baboon, but he doesnt deserve that. This man is unfit to occupy any position of responsibility - forget being the chief minister of a state. I think these idiots have no loyalty, no moral fabric intact to actually insult a martyr's family in this way, without understanding the trauma that the Unnikrishnan family is going through. I absolutely agree with Mr. Unnikrishnan's action to tell this monkey to get out of their premises,as a martyr's temple is not a fitting place for a pig to hang around. That should be in a pig sty, and matter of fact I think in Mr. Unnikrishnan’s place I would have actually slapped him with my bathroom slippers, not even my shoes. Just before I sign off, I would like to ask this octogenarian bafoon, does he realize that he is only a public "servant", elected to a post to " serve" commoners like us. So can this servant actually justify why he shouldnt be stripped in public and not slapped for his callous comments? You chimpanzee, Acchut, you are a person who has made entire India's head hang in shame. You are just....a national disgrace. Shame!!!

It is SHAME for every one of us to hear that kind of comment from a responsible head of State Gov. against a Hero who scarified his life in line of Duty and protecting us.

These ministers and politicians are safe at their home. How can they understand the efforts that our courageous soldiers took to save the nation....Its our fault that we vote for such selfish men who knows only how to sell the nation to fill their own pockets at the cost of the life of our army and general public. Can we really name any minister who is honest....the answer is  a big NO. A salute to all our militia  and a disgust for the bloody politicians.

I think the cm is also using the same words which is used by Sandeep's father. Both of them have made mistakes.when CM and home minister reach there mr.unnikrishnan user very cheap words like "get out of my home you blody dogs, rascals".CM said he is a father of a soldier so he was not behave like these.if it is not sandeep's house not even a dog will go there. So let us forgive both of them.

Mr.Pujari,

Why don't you put your feet in sandeep's father shoes .We have been too liberal with the politians and their activities. This time we have too much on ourselves and no gandhigiri should be used.

0
Biju S

When he had send his search dogs to their premises, Sandeep's father has persistently expressed that he didnt want the cm to be in his house. Inspite of that ..the shameless fellow pushed in...so i totally agree the way Sandeep's father has reacted

Hi Chetan,

Vinit is correct its high time now.really we need to wake up

It is utterly disturbing and appalling behaviour from such a senior leader in Kerala politics.

Who does he think he is, to insult a martyrs family.

It is upto the people who voted for him to decide. If this is the way, he reacts to a martyr family, then i guess he wouldnt be bothered at all if it were a common man.

vinit bijani

Who does he think he is, to insult a martyrs family. This bastard CM should not only be ripped off from the position but should also be stripped and paraded on the roads of kerela .The politians now should not be welcomed with garlands but should be paraded with chappals.Shame on us that we are still quite.

Nothing can b expected from such type of chief ministers & politicians who thinks that by going to attend 1 funeral procession, they have done a great job.Major Sandeep's father is right, his son has sacrificed for our protection and a damn ministers & politicians just go at the end to attend the funeral for the name's sake. These ministers & politicians should b thrown out from our country who dares to say that even a dog would have glanced that way.

Very shamefull for our country having these types of ministers & politicians commenting these types of foolish statement.

V Indians r not safe in the hands of these ministers & politicians.

God save us.

The kerala CM killed Major Sandeep second time. I think the people of kerala should by now know what barbaric person they have voted for. Please throw him to the streets and the CPI or whichever political party he belongs to should throw him out. He is not even fit to be a human being. He must know that it is Major Sandeep's parents inculcated the patriotism in their son and they are the ones who made his for what he was. So the CM should have actually paid more tribute to his parents. But I'm sure the rascal CM will not understand all that. My heart is fuming and give a chance people should mob him and kill him. He is the worst terrorist ever killing the matry's family with words.

Mr.Unnikrishnan Sir , I salute you Sir. You wont know me but I had my heartfelt condolences for your family. I am deeply touched and very proud of your son. He belongs to all of us which is such a great pride for u. I feel I have had a personal loss.
