{UPDATE} Brother Murders His 2 Sisters - Decapitates One Stabs Other

A family birthday party turned into a horrific massacre in a Boston suburb over the weekend as 23-year old Kerby Revelus went on a murderous rampage attacking three of his sisters.  Kerby Revelus first stabbed his 17-year old sister Samantha Revelus with a kitchen knife prompting a 911 call and quick police mobilization.

When Boston police arrived at the scene they found Kerby Revelus in the middle of decapitating his youngest sister, 5-year old Bianca Revelus, with the same knife he used to stab Samantha.  They were unable to save the little girl but were there to intervene when Kerby turned to attack a third sister, 9-year old Saraphina Revelus.

Saraphina was immediately rushed to hospital suffering from multiple stab wounds but she is expected to survive her brother's horrific assault.  The other two sisters, Samantha and Bianca were killed at the scene

Killer Kerby Revelus was shot and killed by police to stop him from continuing his murder spree. Five police officers are now on paid trauma leave after witnessing the carnage.  They will receive aggressive counseling to help them cope with witnessing the decapitation of 5-year old Bianca.

The killer, 23-year-old Kerby Revelus, who had already stabbed another sister, 17-year-old Samantha, to death, then ran to another room and attacked a third sister, 9-year-old Saraphina.

Milton police officers shot and killed Revelus, then grabbed Saraphina and rushed her to the hospital, where she is recovering today from multiple stab wounds, the paper reports.

Neighbors told police that Revelus, who was unemployed after serving jail time, had been "talking crazy" in recent days. One neighbor told The Globe he had been speaking with Revelus only about 10 minutes before the attack on Saturday.

A surviving sibling, 21-year old Jessica Revelus, describes Kerby as frightening.  Jessica states that his first victim, Samantha Revelus, had repeatedly expressed a deep fear of him and that she herself left the family home because she was afraid for her life and the safety of her young child.

Kerby Revelus returned to the family home after serving a 2006 prison sentence on gun charges.  The family maintains he was released from prison a changed man; changed for the worst.  Jessica Revelus has told reporters that Kerby was close to his baby sister Bianca making the incomprehensible killings that much harder to understand.

A gifted Milton High senior’s prophetic concerns about her convict brother’s increasingly violent behavior may have ignited his psychotic breakdown Saturday that cost her and her 5-year-old sister their lives, police said.

“Samantha would stay away from him,” said Jessica Revelus, 21, of her slain sister and killer brother Kerby Revelus, 23. “No one was scared of him, he just has a temper. Anything would set him off.”

Jessica, who once called police after an argument with Kerby got out of control, moved out of the Milton family’s home to raise her baby, Ariana Castillo, and be safe.

“Jail made him worse,” Jessica said.

Details of the crime and a motive are still under investigation but police have stated that they believe 17-year old Samantha was the initial target.  Known as "Princesse" in her family speculation is that jealousy may have pushed Kerby Revelus to kill.  Witnesses say that Kerby had been on a downward spiral and that he had assaulted a neighbor unprovoked just days before the murder spree.

Funeral arrangements for Samantha Revelus and Bianca Revelus have not yet been made.  A public memorial is expected to be part of the plans and the Boston police intend to send officers to the funeral.

The Medusa side of life is difficult to look at too long and too often. When I hear about a story like this, I hope that there is some real brain damage that helps explain such a lack of humanity.

I prefer to think in terms of this, "we all meet our maker some day."  Even if humans look to find reason in the evil that men do one can't hide the truth from a higher power.

Gahh, this story almost made me sick. What a sick, psychotic f***. I feel bad for the sister and the officers that had to witness this savagery.

This is so awful.  I have a five year old, and when I read/see stuff like this, it makes me more and more fearful of bad things happening to him, and it makes me question my faith a little bit.  Why does God not stop this evil?  Why does the Enemy run so rampant in the world today?  I cried when I read this, especially when I saw the video showing how the mother collapsed after hearing the news.  I cannot however not be a little angry with the parents for leaving such an unstable individual in the house when he was obviously a danger to his siblings and everyone else residing there.  Why did they not pay attention to Jessica when she expressed fear of her brother?  When they noticed he was worse after his jail term, why did they not seek help for him??  Why do we have to always wait until a catastrophe occurs to take action?  Now there is one surviving child who will be scarred for the rest of her life, sorrow and pain because of the loss of three children, and 5 officers who will forever remember seeing a defenseless and innocent 5 year old decapitated!  We have to be more diligent of the mental needs of our friends and family.  God bless the Revelus'.

Excuse me for my mistake with the name.  I meant to say Samantha, not Jessica.  Excuse me.

im from milton and i knew him and i completely agree with you, its so much of the parents fault, my boy was chillin with him last week and said he wouldnt stop talkin bout violence. in high school everyone had mad respect for him. i had respect for him. it angers me so much that someone i thought was cool would do this. i know what he looks like when he gets pissed, i have images of him gettin violent with little girls in my head sometimes. i can honestly say this traumatized me and it will be impossible to forget for the rest of my life. it really makes me wonder why people never put effort into life, every aspect. if someone you love is troubled, which i am 100% sure he must have tried to talk about it, its your fuckin duty to take care of it, not ignore it because you have your own life to worry about. i hope this gives everyone a real wake up call that you have to be there for people you know. its impossible to know how much stress is on someones mind. only way you will find out is by talking about ti and being open, and honestly anyone who thinks im on some homo shit fuck you, i know mad thorough cats and all my life ive lived the other side to your pretty little life and i know what stress does to people. violence can be prevented, stop caring about yourself and think of others, do stuff for other people and you will feel good about yourself. grow up, our society is fucked and its everyones fault, about time people learn

I would suspect that Ritalin figures in here somewhere.  I suspect that he was put on it for ADDS or the like when he was a kid and it messed up his brain.

Imo, that drug is bad news.

My goddaughter's son has a different way of learning, so she was getting pressure from the school to put him on it.  Instead, she removed him from school and taught him herself, adapting to his best way of learning.  He continues to thrive.

I wouldn't blame the parents, they're not usually who someone seeks help from first. Friends should have picked something up. Paranoia can lead to horrific crimes, it doesn't mean he wasn't raised well or was always a bad person. I went to school with him. He was always really nice to me, helped me when I needed it, and never asked for anything back. People really do need to learn to help eachother more and respect eachother, you never know who your pushing over the edge.

How can that man kill his own little sisters. Its wrong for someone to kill his family. I have 2 little sisters that are 5 and I could never get to a point where I would hurt them. They mean everything to me. What an ass kerby was.
