Opposition Political opportunists grandstanding for the Media are demanding our Prime Minister Stephen Harper tell Obama in no uncertain terms to release Accused Terrorist Omar Khadr to Canada, because in their Word (Drivel) it is in Canada's Interest that Khadr come back to Canada for Rehabilitation and a most likely a Heroes Welcome by Anti American advocates!

I for one would like to know the reasoning in their "Statement of Idiocy" how bringing Taliban Khadr back to Canada will serve in our Best Interests??????

Are these three Stooges on Crack?? Again I bring up the subject of Politicians looking for that almighty "ethnic vote"., There are thousands of Canadians serving prison time in other countries who profess innocence, yet these Three Wonks of Stupidity remain Silent for their cause. We all remember a woman (a Housekeeper and cook) falsely accused of Fraud by the Mexican Government, who spent 2 years rotting in a Mexican Jail and it was Prime Minister Harper's Government who finally got her home, not these three Drivel Donkeys, why? Well for one, she was Canadian and of no particular ethnicity, hence not a Vote Getter for these Three Insipid Rump Rangers!

It seems in Canada if you are Ethnic, and the potential Votes are plentiful, then you can count on these three Lefty Morons to have your back!

In my opinion, they care not about Khadr, they just yearn for Power of the Ethnic Vote, and Grandstanding for the media spotlight to maintain some semblance of relevancy in the Public's Eyes! But now Eyes long Blinded by their Past Stupidity!

Thank God, Prime Minister Harper has turned a Blind Eye to these Three PR Opposition Political Fart Tasters.

Omar Khadr's return in country's best interest, say opposition MPs

PMO dismisses plea as 'PR campaign'

With Washington poised to shut down the Guantanamo Bay military prison, it's in Canada's best interest to bring terrorism suspect Omar Khadr back home to monitor his situation, a trio of opposition MPs said Wednesday.

The opposition call came shortly before one of Khadr's lawyers and a group of Muslim leaders outlined a proposed reintegration plan for Khadr if he is returned to Canada.

Despite the plea, a spokesman for Prime Minister Stephen Harper reaffirmed there will be no change in policy regarding Khadr unless the U.S. changes its position and dismissed the plan as a "PR stunt and nothing more."

I love your description of these opportunistic politicians! Where have they been for the past seven years? Like I've said before, this has so poorly handled by the 'authorities' that Omar may never fit into polite society -- and who can blame him?

Not knowing enough about this case, I find it hard to say whether Khadr should be brought home or not, but it is clear that these politicians are using this as an excuse to get some attention for themselves. (I think)

I say we drop him off at the nearest Canadian Forces base or Legion and let him see how tough he is. I bet a few WWII vets could teach him a thing or two about fighting for a worthy cause!

Thanks everyone for your comments, though he is a born Canadian, I have always said in my past stories, in the event we do take him home, the last people he needs to be with is his family, a family whose brainwashing led him to kill, and a society including some Islamic groups will brainwash him further as a hero and martyr. I have no answers, but releasing him to the nutjobs and anti American groups to be displayed to the world is not the answer either.

Because I guarantee Politicians and the special interests groups will do this public display of him, much to the anger of our US and Canadian Veterans who fought and died.

What do we do with him, retrain him to work, educate him? Who knows, one thing for sure the Media whores will salivate at the bit to have him on documentaries, News shows like a condescending puppet for the Left Wing.

Perhaps the best thing is move him to an undisclosed Canadian town incognito, where he can write and publish a book on his life and experiences and live off the proceeds and retire in peace away from those who wish to present him to the world for their own selfish gain.

2 days ago in England a Dutch MP (Geert Wilders) has been told he could not enter the UK. Now tell me why Canada should let Khadr, a terrorist, come in. Worst than that, some of our politicians are asking for it.

Crack, opium and ethnic votes. What else ?

Thanks Andre for the comments, I would think based on Politicians salaries, high grade Heroin would be more likely their choice, or they were dropped on their as babies, many,many times.
